Haiku 60 - Indiana Summer

Haiku 60 – Indiana Summer

	Indiana
	orange roadside lilies
	rural splendor

	Indiana
	elephant’s eye corn
	no tassels yet

	Indiana
	endless green soybean fields
	rich farmland soil

	a strange beauty
	stark yet soothing vistas
	Indiana

My wife is from Indiana, so I have been there many times visiting family. I never fail to be amazed at how beautiful absolutely flat land can be. Thanks for commenting... Jack

Summer vistas in Indiana are mesmerizingly beautiful. Winter is harsh and bleak, or so I'm told...
