Black Hair

A black hair like a temptress of the ocean,

Swoons my every thought.

My mortal pearl

Longs for the ocean of your skin to wash me away.

Away into loves abode.

The minute your voice swoons me
My heart leaps into your hands
Eyes meet and we inter-lock

Love is in the air

Fast as you can say ‘Jack Robinson’
      Up pops another rookie phenom

   But as April heroics fade
      to June swoons

Came the dog days of August

long night
starlight
under a moon
that swoons

waiting
longing
pulling at straws
our life on pause

token promises
hits and misses
while darkness looms
silence speaks volumes

At the Beach

At the beach
everything sways and swoons
the palm trees by the sea
grow sleepy with the heat
I'll offer you shade
on this sun burned carpet of sand
as the misty salt kissed wind
crosses the waters from far off horizon...

Premium Member My Foolish Heart On Valentine's

Only once a year
He swoons and captures your heart
Oh heart how could you

It's not all my fault
My mind plays tricks on itself
The heart just follows

We are so attached
Why argue my valentine
Cupid's job is done

He Pulls Back

She caresses his skin
Arches form the bridge reflect again
In one heated moment of passion angels sin
As their glances meet their love begins
He swoons as the room seems to spin
Pulls of the net bring up the fin
Back to front they spoon and grin

Summer Sonnet

Summer Sonnet.
Missing her in the height of summer,
She left so soon, my heart swoons in sorrow
Missing her so far, as the morning sun glows,
As midnight moon fading in the clouds.
So much doubts wallowering on my mind.

Crossroads

Like in the canvass of memories
that plays all fantastic images,
on my mind,
Death of denial breaks through.
The thread of my tattered quilt,
assaulting the unknown madness of worldly frames
and while in an unforgiving dose of reality
my devouring emotions and
its overwhelming appetite for justice
Caught my madness swoons for mercy

he’s spent too long staring into my eyes
forgetting the penetrating softness of my curves,
so he swoons to cup the warmest stowaway

before the sun reveals its radiance
before the aroma of coffee fills the house
before the vibration of his work cell

the subtle satisfaction of mood light
the kindling of lover’s chrysalis

Youthful moments, fleeting
young love swoons from the past
             yellowed portraits remain
                  yesterday’s songs linger
yet as life goes, we sail
years mark a fleet of days
                                 yielding to time and age.

Suck It

I want to suck this thumb
I want to suck it like ice cream
I want to lick it
I want to lick it like honey
I want to chew on it and
I want to do it over again till it melts.

Melt, it will.
It will melt into my fingers like a heart
Enchant his brain till he swoons
Every time he looks at me
I want him to feel my deep passion
I want these feelings to never end.

Moon,
Lord of light,
Protector of the night,
You light the flame
That has no name
Inside my daughter's heart.

She's only two,
Though don't let that fool you.
She howls at the moon
Like a full grown coyote.
With raised chin
She sways and swoons
Carrying her to the car from the party.

Her in my arms,
Seduced by her charms,
I sway and swoon
At my own little moon.

Too Late To Bind Old Wounds

Words meant so much to him too
The punchy lyric told you what to do
It was what he wanted to say
Instead of just wasting it anyway

What bollocks, yeah man
Here was where he made his stand
The solitary one in his plan
Too far now from where it began

Opening his old wounds
Too late to bind them he swoons
Just drag yourself on
March on singing your sad songs.

Written: November 13, 2023 _________________________________________________ The waning sun brightens the skies. Love carries you home via meadows. She would have time to shield her eyes. The waning sun brightens the skies. While he was humming he stayed wise. Young swoons are playing with shadows. The waning sun brightens the skies. Love carries you home via meadows.

Sunflowers blush as petals creep
Along easels of meadow's keep.

Winter's arctic days now long gone,
That morn's fair promise trails upon

Breezes sweet , once an icy blast,
Engrave a kiss on spring at last

Cardinal swoons with trilled refrains
Upon leaves' edges like beaded grains,

For springtime is a godly rite
When heaven molds its prized delight!

Spring night -- an odd attraction to this alley. Dark shadows -- something lurking in that corner. Soft breeze -- a weird paralysis in my legs.

softly breezes blow:
hair fluttering fled, disarrayed
what: distraction

eyes blinking wildly --
stiff deadened toes shivered
body slow --- stiffened

Nothing heard --
within non-sounds: darkness rose
eventide swoons

spring night
moonbeam bright
bumping jumping slithering crawling

Lunar Vibration's Swell.....

As if floating thru a powdered sugar mist,
Luna's sweet vibration,a confectioners kiss.....
moulding exquisite layers of soma's bliss,
remiss nought experience which reminisce....

Far away dreams lit upon starlight waves,
only to be realized within life stream raves
desire of the beauty in which it gave,
moments which engender,then tenderly enslave.....

Lost temporarily enchanted by it's spell,
full moon swoons as it rises and swells......

Summer Moon

Summer Moom

Soft purple velvet darkness falls,
Undulating evening sounds call,
Mist builds waves on dew laden air,
Moss sways in trees like maiden's hair;
Enchanting! Expectantly I
Raise hungry eyes to feed on sky.

Magnificent, she rises there
Over the tree tops; earth, stopping, stares...
Opal lover, June's summer moon,
Night cannot resist, dazzled, swoons.
