Trump Hair Like An Oragnatang
Trump Hair Like An Orangatang

Know I never would be delighted
If to a TRump rally I was invited
Orange hair looks like an orangatang
Discovered theory called big bang
Women abuses while them he slighted.

You'Re a Good Man
To the party, you were not invited.
As anyone else, you feel slighted.
When they turn down their thumbs,
to hell with those bums.
You are a good man who deserves to be knighted.

Myself I Never Knew
MYSELF I NEVER KNEW THE WAXY LEAVES OF BEING
Grow dream and pipe design
Grow sharp and to a vision of a dance
That enters mind of another body/brain
Slighted and distilled until that time
Goodbyes and paper greetings shuffle
WILD THINGS AWAIT THEIR TURN....

Premium Member Nudity At Work
I dreamed I went to work in the nude,
being slighted I thought was quite rude.
I was paid no mind,
to my stripped behind,
so I found a broke lawyer who sued.

Sighted Than Slighted and Delighted
Trump has been sighted
many people always slighted
he was delighted

by Trump we were told
on his party has a hold
image of him did mold

is trash like corn husk
Trump dental work showed a tusk
always did like Musk

of Trump had our fill
had failed to pay his each bill
which we knew he will...

Intransigence
INTRANSIGENCECapricious in opinion
Parental – High handedness
Work put in
By sentinel minions
Juggernaut enthused
Serial circumstance
Discorded use. Abstinence!
Crushed! UNDONE!
Inconsonance
I am slighted. Rebuffed!
Disinherited
Urgency brings revolution
Insurgence
Of divine retribution.

End....

Slighted Apology
My words to you are formulated slowly, excruciatingly, drawn out.
I do not know how to make you understand and so
It all ends up in a jumble
Each word rushing over the next in their haste to escape my clumsy tongue.

In silence I wait
Regretful eyes trained to awkward toes
While you shove it all back down my throat....

Every Word
I wonder if a selfish thought
Or act I did today,
Might have slighted someone else,
Or rubbed them the wrong way.

Only God can know for sure,
Whom I will chance to meet,
And He can help me make the most
Of opportunity.

Lord, I pray that you will guide
Each step I take from here.
May every word and little thought,
Be those You want to hear....

Obsession Part 3
I shall take my morning walk,
communing with the birds and talking
to myself while reading Kafka,
glancing at the latest headlines.
Dear Stravinsky's 'Rite' is slighted,
(he'll be back when ears are righted.)
When I smell a rose I'm prompted
to recall a certain lady, gifted with
a strange perception, I must sadly
take exception, for the moment anyway....

Fading Paper Dolls

Slowly leaving things out,
important and then,
not so much.

Angry people that believe
they are slighted,
or given less value,
found wrong...
as those closer
get lost as well.

Getting older,
accidents or fate...
our memory,
our remembrances,
our lives,
the sum of...

Taken to heaven,
 in our hearts,
 if not fully remembered,
 in our minds....

Premium Member Nesting Swallows
After winged flight at dusk the swallows rest
I hear their chirping inside my tallest chimney
Where they have found their perfect nest.

The swallows of late do not think me friendly
For chilly air has prompted the fireplace lighted
Without intention to treat the nesting birds unkindly.

Held off as long I could to keep the swallows unindicted
Even while the family felt, oh, so very, very slighted....

Premium Member Heart Full of Snow
I am alone so alone my heart is born
Birth in solitude
My heart is misguided
I am slighted
So alone, all alone
My heart is alone
So exciting, so inviting
Unlike it's just the way the snow falls
Birth in solitude
My rain is misguided
Frozen water slighted
So alone, all alone snow
My heart beats born to pump life giving blood
My sky is full with cool-cold frizzed snow

Doubt
Helpless ~
Realized on the sense of doubt ~
Instilling fear.

Hope ~
Lapses into the abyss of unknowing ~
Deaf to hear (my voice):
Numb to feel (my touch):
Scared to dream.

Love ~
Hesitant to trust without oath:
Slighted in its honesty.

Shame ~
(How can my love not be enough?)
Accepting its mine.
Knowing that time is
Our only reprieve:
Our only chance to believe:
Our only light.

Breath ~
(Struggling for air)
Held tight...

~ Helpless....

Slighted
My secrets are bestowed,
Upon the chosen few
Oh please, don’t feel slighted
If one of them's not you
For I need one to confide in
And this is sad, but true
The conclusions that you jump to
Are in words you misconstrue
You'll resurrect a rumor
If you think it can be run
You'll cut one down in humor
But insist it's all in fun
Yeah, I don't trust your intent
Your tongue's a vicious blade
And I won't share my thoughts with you
'Cause that's how lies are made...

Another Mourning
Morning rears a dreadful head
and barks out her soul
leaving the bliss behind
to rest alone with thoughts
numbed from last night's nirvana

Foggy eyes pour over burnt toast
and runny eggs
a yellow blur occurs
was it a kiss or a slap of a slighted hand
holding me at bay

My mind sits still as the coffee turns
swirling aimlessly amongst empty ruins

I am at a loss

Pain strangles my throat
I curl my lips and pretend
as I muscle in another day...

Autumn's Final Toll
Chilling tides turn the leaves of my soul
For Summer's balmy days I pine and troll
Residual reams of light o'er slighted heart scroll
Scourging winds erode my wavering, intellectual pole
Truant feelings flood my sensory console
Alternating, rancid dreams my psyche patrol
Molting mind is making my wit drab, droll
Burrowing through lengthening nights; entrenched mole
Color blind, as metastasizing changes o'er my body roll
Twining memories strand my spirit on life's, rocky shoal...
