Doubt
Helpless ~
Realized on the sense of doubt ~
Instilling fear.
Hope ~
Lapses into the abyss of unknowing ~
Deaf to hear (my voice):
Numb to feel (my touch):
Scared to dream.
Love ~
Hesitant to trust without oath:
Slighted in its honesty.
Shame ~
(How can my love not be enough?)
Accepting its mine.
Knowing that time is
Our only reprieve:
Our only chance to believe:
Our only light.
Breath ~
(Struggling for air)
Held tight...
~ Helpless.
