Hypocrisy in philanthropy,
is the theme for tonight.
A reoccurring cadency,
in a false malevolent light....

This night,
The stars glittering behind
A blossoming branch,
Springs reoccurring blanket begins
To spread itself,
New hopes ride fertile winds
Through freshly furrowed fields....

Ordinary
It was an ordinary day
At one moment everything was silent and I started thinking
The first that came up to my mind was your name
It kept on reoccurring
It was no longer an ordinary day...

Purring and Reoccuring
Purring and Reoccurring

When my cat was purring
Seems to be reoccurring
With him words minced
Then me rubbed against.
That was so reassuring.

Jack and Henry never
rub me the wrong way.

My alarm went off in the middle of the night I set it for 8:00 what an annoying device A penalty should be enforced Perhaps an action in the courts Preventing it from reoccurring, that would be nice

Loneliness
Loneliness

Tastes equivalent to a reoccurring nightmare
Sounds as though tomorrow will never arrive
Looks exactly like it's identical opposite
Feels equal to an unkept secret
Smells the same an unanswered prayer
It leaves me senseless...

Xenophobic Youth
Attractive boys came devouring every frozen gulp.
Heavenly ices jubilant kaleidoscopic light.
Marvelous opulence, picturesque reoccurring –
Sustenance tasted universally.
Vicariously winterizing xenophobic youth,
Zestfully –

Keep Him Waiting
Keep Him Waiting…

He can’t be without natural occurrence
Like fog in the morning
Or seasons reoccurring
And you’re one to cast illusions
Of what you want in that very moment
Then once he gives you what you’re asking
You slip from consciousness
And keep him waiting...

Good To Know
Good things don’t last,
because bad one’s keeps reoccurring,
somethings will ever stay mystery,
but others won’t, so never say never.

Don’t give up trying,
sometimes if we can’t wait it out,
we make the best use of time.
New not young nor is old neither,
good to know…...

Getting There
Yellow line, guiding me home.
No complaints and without a groan.
Pulling me up and down.
No problem and without a sound.
Twisting and turning.
No churning and to be home I am yearning.
Why does this convoluted journey keep reoccurring?

Spring
Worms rotate in a peculiar procession
As spring enters - the conquering gladiator.
Saplings play in the breeze.
Dogs smile at the sun while the wind breathes with sighing despondency.
Falling leviathan blossoms float to the ground from reoccurring trees.
Nature holds us all hostage in her warm embrace; green, urgent, and rampant....

Premium Member Facing the Red Sea
As a child, this reoccurring dream haunted. When I would run from a monster chasing me Then he'd reach out to grab, I'd fly undaunted. As time went by, from those dreams seemed free. Now knowing it was death, I face the red sea
Of course, as you can tell. I have no idea about stressed and unstressed syllables. LOL...

Dreamer, Dreamer
Dreamer, dreamer,
a reoccurring soul
from the past,
Linger, linger,
make your
memories last.
Tell me of a poem
in which love
defies all,
Tell me of your sadness
and I’ll kiss you
in the hall.
Away, away,
lost and astray,
I’ve missed you,
in every way,
on a dark and rainy day,
humidity hovers with sweat
and I can seem to forget
you....

Premium Member If I Die Tonight
Reoccurring dream teases me almost awake
I see myself in a lithe taut dancer’s body
There is a swirl of translucent chiffon
I feel myself pirouetting on a stone bridge

Promises of castles and a prince in the distance
Moonlight serenade given to me by sandman
If I die tonight, I die fulfilled, full of joy
I dance toward the rainbow bridge with eagerness...

How Does Your Contra Grow
Losing my keys can be unsettling.
Not nearly as much as finding a human skull.
Waking up naked in church is a
reoccurring dream.
Pleasant is the day when a severed finger
is found in a jar of mayonnaise
Hidden is the fact
I lost my job at the funeral home.
For showing up on my day off.
I blush at the sight of adult diapers.
Whose keys are these?

Reoccurring Dream
Once again, I’m standing in his doorway, looking at what I’ve done. How can such a barbaric act give me such satisfaction? I don’t know why it does, but it does. The feeling of dominance. Closure. Clarity. Anti-conformity. He won’t stop bleeding, and I won’t stop laughing. But soon after, the feeling fades. And I can’t wait to do it again tomorrow night.

Its a terrible dream

no one hears or has ever seen
i try to cry
but not a single drop in my eye
i feel the ground beneath me shaking
i pray to the lord
take me in tonight
i never ever wanted to be seen
Moonshine,starlight-the dlight

Upon the Glaring Stage
Here I am again in my reoccurring role
I say those familiar lines in my head
I walk upon the dusty stage
I look out through the bright lights
The audience is always missing
I play my character with passion and conviction
I cry and writhe in my pain
After my performance there is silence
No accolades
No critical acclaim
Just a fool playing the fool
On this ridiculous glaring stage...

General Black's Dream
General Black awoke from something so frightening.
He said to his wife at five thirty in the morning:
“Honey, I just had that dream that’s been reoccurring.
I saw a matador killing a bull in the ring.
Why every night would I dream about such a strange thing?
They need me today in Washington for a meeting.
I will return tonight. Will you need money for anything?”

Based on the 1964 film "Fail-Safe"...

Premium Member Reoccurring Anger
I saw it again
That anger of mine.
On a door window pane
In that room of time.

And it came into view
For me to behold.
Its image the same
Nothing new….same as old.

I took cloth in hand
Tried to wipe it away.
But it stubbornly remained
No words uttered….nothing to say.

So I dropped that cloth
And it fell to the floor.
And as I tried leaving that room
Anger still….on that pane of the door....
