Dreamer, Dreamer

Dreamer, dreamer,
a reoccurring soul
from the past,
Linger, linger,
make your
memories last.
Tell me of a poem
in which love
defies all,
Tell me of your sadness
and I’ll kiss you
in the hall.
Away, away,
lost and astray,
I’ve missed you,
in every way,
on a dark and rainy day,
humidity hovers with sweat
and I can seem to forget
you.
