Honeysuckle and Cardamon Spice Reminisces
Cognac & Brandy recollections,
   sublime warmth 'tween
        smoky exhaled vapors,
wisps of  Madagascar aromatics
       & blazes of Autumn firesides
    amidst a French Château fantasy,
  dipped in honeysuckle reminisces
      of cardamom spice and the pungent
         zest of once upon twilit legends...

Premium Member Owl Reminisces Her Last Lifetime
Owl reminisces her days of being a human
Looks longingly at mother holding her child close
Remembering the feeling of that warmth
Recalling the love from her children

The moon has brought back her memories
Something lost in the daytime during sleep
She takes another forever after peek through the window
Hoping to regain her humanness in her next lifetime...

Premium Member Ever So Kind
I reach across the darkest night;
I stumble fall but I'm alright;
I'm so alive, so alive;
I open my eyes and see the light, I strive;

I hear a voice inside my heart;
A soft warming whisper, so soft;
I'm aroused by promises;
And I don't feel alarmed I am reminisces;

Chosen for this moment in time;
I am treated ever so, ever so kind;

We Sat and Laughed
Few years ago; we were here
Do you remember?
We watched the sun begin to pare
We sat and laughed

It was such a good time we spent
Sitting under the glow of the glorious sun
The rays that fell paid their consent
And we sat and laughed

I won't forget this fragment of the past
As the memories with you were so little
This for reminisces sake will forever last
For we sat and laughed...

Scarlet
Scarlet heart, smile for me now or never
The thought of you brings me scarlet fever
Your red pigment reminds me of saccharine caress
Your orange tinge reminisces sour-sweet embrace

Your playful voice brings thundering rhapsody
Your luscious lips are like zones of fantasy
Your beauty is perpetually exquisite
Your daring look, only fools would resist

Stained glass windows
Paint her world-
In shades of
Blue
Lavender and rose-
As she sits alone
Atop of old point road-
In a place where
Bygone phantoms blow-

No one comes to visit
With her anymore-
Except
The whispers
From the pines-
Who
She reminisces with
Of better times-
Before the cross
             was
           nailed
                to
              her

Fiercely Trembled Quiver
'Twas a mystifying shiver,
made her insides quivery liquid
a flight of fancy such as none other,
they were like two ships passing
midst a steamy night's rendezvous,
whenever the poetry of a drab life
appears to be stagnant & oppressive,
she reminisces an endearing epoch
whence earth vehemently shook &
in the way he made every last nuance
of devoured flesh fiercely tremble to
the core of her reawakened existence...

Make It Last
Oh what a delight
If I had it my way, enjoy something I like
Drop everything and just take flight
No stress no worries like a kid, just me and my bike

Lesson at hand don't grow up too fast
Childhood days are just a short span
Before you know it you'll have reminisces of the past
Hoping and wishing you was Tinker bell or Peter Pan
Not trying to scare or make you fear
Just take your time
Never know what's in store year after year...

Another Year
log fuelled fire blazes in a hearth, throwing out intermittent shadows embellishing a darkened room a flickering candle burns through yet another Christmas eve its light reaches out to highlight images of a family past

a silence is broken by a rocking, creaking chair that projects it's outline upon an empty wall, a victim of years gone by reminisces of many such nights, as a wind roars around snow-filled fields outside of a bolted wooden door......

Remembering a Moment
Sweet reminisces
In my Sun drenched yard
There they are, in the distance
Like magic to me
You see I was so wee

Purple darlings
Chirping near by are the starlings
I could hardly reach
But I must pick one each

For hopes and smiles
Mother will find these so worthwhile
Fragrance from heaven
Here we go “I got nine no ten, maybe eleven”

Lilacs in a bunch
I’ll bring them to her at lunch
And please her so
After all I love her you know...

Jars Ii: Contents of Moments
Old bones of my last feast
lost and sold to the dust of ages
collect in cryptic skulls
of entities that sit and pray
worship in a cave
of my inner minds eye
within jars of the beast
bizarre things move
in the slime and muck I smash
the contents of moments
lost to the night
cutting my flesh
in rhythm and rage
jagged jars are broken glass
how long will it last
watching the remains
the reminisces of being
wasted moments in time
washing out fast in jars of my mind...

Instead of Kisses
Shattered pieces of the heart

Lie scattered at the end of love
Forever is over and now we part

Memories and tears are all that is left of

The days we shared as ecstasy smiled

When passion was yours and mine
Loving too fast and intensely wild

But the end came to our lover’s shrine

Bitter words instead of kisses

We lost the pleasure in a tender touch
And the memories of time reminisces

On loving too hard and hurting too much
