The Crucified Church
Stained glass windows
Paint her world-
In shades of
Blue
Lavender and rose-
As she sits alone
Atop of old point road-
In a place where
Bygone phantoms blow-
No one comes to visit
With her anymore-
Except
The whispers
From the pines-
Who
She reminisces with
Of better times-
Before the cross
was
nailed
to
her
door-
