A global index,
strive to intermix
with the universe
and it’s creator,
find a point of view

Cosmic order
inspired journey
discovering
questions of faith

invades
God’s own

A Ramshackle Faith
She wrung away ache
With meteor rains;
Threw flare coloured stains
Into tomorrow's
Skies, hoping to flee.

She followed star's
Patterns too far
Into the night.
Too far to see.

Galaxies help
Aid her deep
Repair. To

Tell her
She's not

Lone.

If the moonless night
slept, sheepish it'd be.
Strange, fresh dude not cool
chit chat about him
awkward and painful.

Where is a loo
or rear window
to crawl out of,
I'm so tempted.

Bragged he loathed
his girlfriend.
He purred, one

more date.
I said,

no.

A ramshackle faith
unattended lies
withering on vines
thirsting for the truth
of parched memory

Doubtless sparrows
mocking the mind
chirp happily
in denial

moments pass
lost in time’s
endless search

for then
is now

lost

The Gardener
He peers into his mind
for the once planted,
the once loved,
the still flowering,
the motley,
the wilderness blooms.

Without this retrospection
his mind would be a ramshackle plot,
so he tends to it,
even the briers and thorns.

Memory nourishes
flourishes from the seeding,
it also dead-heads and uproots.

There are many ways to garden....

Divorce
Divorce

Blinded by the dream, ignoring the rust
Ramshackle bridges are now burned to dust

Years of effort gone to waste
Keeping a smile near my face

Deaf to my awareness and strength
Putting me back in the kitchen at any length

Polishing your plastic award and crown
Top marks for keeping me down

I may be beaten but the fight isn’t over
For me to love myself and start over

It’s not me, it’s you

Temptation’s collars
choke life out of me.
Truth the greatest gift,
it costs everything,
just one breath away.

Doubt takes the joy,
walked the fool’s quest
too long, discern;
deceived – elect.

Every tongue
will confess,
our Spirits

to kneel
before

Christ.

A Tick At Twelve
At a country side,
From a hilly view,
A ramshackle stead stands.
A stead in a plum farm.
Mr. John is a plum seller.
He tills the ground,
He tends the plants.
At the tick of the clock,
At a tick at twelve,
At twelve noon ,
With a lad dragging behind him,
His son,little Jack Horner.
He sets out into the village square.
A rowdy village market.
There,he sells all his plums.
At a tick at twelve?
Yes,at same tick at twelve,
He had sold all!.....
At a tick at twelve....

graduating from room 101
i once stood
within my own shipwreck
blaming cruel seas

years past
flotsam and jetsam
built a driftwood home

when storms came
that ramshackle shelter
self-destructed
while i
cursed foul weather

looking outward
never seeking inward
i decried a faithless fate

unt
a blinding truth
ransacked
an unseeing mind

simply that

I ALONE
am the author
of my own life-long
melodrama

none other than me

of such a tangled

Windermere (Cumbria)
I gently stroll along the shores of stunning Windermere twenty swans are gathered round the old ramshackle pier ahead the steamer gracefully glides slight ripples in it's wake the image of the fells around reflect upon the lake the vision trails for many a mile a picture quite immense superior panoramic view stimulating every sense blues and greens within the mere glistening rays dancing upon slight summer breeze to calm the heat and carry the sweet bird song

The Scramble
While with others for the treasured scramble,
We sometimes like Acrobats tumble,
The message wiring across that we’re nimble
But all too soon like an elephant amble,
And like the soaked in Bacchus stumble
And like ramshackle walls crumble;
From our bellies a heard rumble
And The Once Fluent begins to ramble,
Lots of a tailor beginner's fumble,
Not good at the use of a thimble
That sometimes forces out a grumble
Before our becoming at last humble;
From our loud speeches to a mumble....
