Will He Shake Spear

By the pricking of her buns
Something wicked this way comes
Of course its Willy
Just acting silly
No one needed to twist his thumbs!

Winter Movement

My heart pounds steadily
pushing warmth throughout my insides
but I burn with a frozen fire
my skin pin-pricking in the cold night
I've never felt more alive.

To Love Again

Phases hurting, memories not forgetting
Stuck in the mind with torns and pricking
Pluck of the heart that worns and piercing
Tokens shattering, to be free but not letting.

LOVE

Peerless passion of pearly love pierces heart with pain-pricking pleasure.

Untitled

Dark dull dawn
Sunset sad silhouette
After you’re gone

Pricking pain persists
Grief getting gross
You, still in dreams exist

Lonely long life
Sinking Spirit Subsists
Where, respite lies

A Poetic Viewpoint

life ...
      'twixt &
 between
anarchic
        asides
pricking
balloons :
so easy
    on the eye
wry smiles
otherness
    observed
held on ...
       ...pause...
the perfect..

An Icy Temper

Sharp pellets of hail
angrily slap at the earth
pricking and provoking
a chilly temper tantrum
from dark, grumbling skies.

Feral Thoughts

Protective barbed wire
pricking with it’s touch;
Blood just rushed from
the lock on your heart;
Penalized necklace;

Scratches so deep,
there’s no way back;
Feral feelings,
aortic slice;

It’s heavy,
a burden
in silence;

Let go,
embrace

love.

Icy Hearth

An ice cold firework
Discharges in my heart
Detonating out shards of ice
To pierce the mind
Pricking my fingers
As the heat
Drains from me and
Like a welcoming fireplace
Warms the souls of the
Dead hearts I've dug up
From the graves of fireflies
That never saw it
Past summer

Orange Sunset

Orange sunset, shining like rusty gold
Parting beautifully as day grows old
Towards the hill where I stand
Its parting smile, so fair and grand

As I write this poem of mine
I feel her warmth, cozy and fine
Pricking my cape towards my face
Like glorious rays in heights of days

Pricky - Tanka 101

                                Prickly but healthy
                                    A sticky situation
                                Healing from dry land
                                   Pricking nerve cells and sugar
                                Nopales sticking around

One On the Chin

Looking on with disdain
At the wayside street urchin
We feel within us a pricking pain
From conscience to us one on the chin

Judging the other by outer appearance
Unspoken thoughts veil not our intent
Where has gone innate innocence
The play divine joyful & content

Withering Mother

I was walking in the field
Maize leaves blinding my eyes
Star thorns pricking my feet;
My eyes settled on a small pumpkin,
It had not grown enough
To show the kind of pumpkin
It would make,
Or even the shades it would take;
I just left it there
Holding on to its withering mother.

Oil Painting

sky tattooed
all over with autumn’s scent,
tokens of numbness
spread along my heartbeats,
ashes growing wild
around what used to be my soul,
crows waiting for my dreams
to become their holy communion,
and beyond all this, me,
heading towards a one hundred years sleep,
after pricking my fingers in your thorny self…

Unrequited

Love.
So bittersweet
So vulnerable
clouded over me
and poured down heavily
embracing my being
and refreshing my soul
until I saw you
untouched
and dry.
But the rain didn’t stop
the embrace turned icy cold
pricking on my skin like needles.
I gasped for air
But you couldn’t see
After all, the Rain
fell only upon me.

My Pain's Alive

My pain is alive
It decides when, where, and how it strikes
My pain lives
It has it own heartbeat
It races, paces
And it can even skip a beat
My pain has choices to make
Sick, burning, numbing, pricking
Cramping, ice cold, burning hot
Which to choose?
If it wasn't for my pain's life
Would I life?
All I know is my pain's alive

Gaunt Gods Grasped

spooky sleep staggering
with wills wielding
hoisted hands hankering
lurching, fiddling lids
sumptuous state stuttering
eerie end enveloping

Zeus zipping zeals
pricking pulsing peels
moaning mists munching

summoned sundry saps
gaunt gods grasped
pruning punctured pats

"Leave for Earth,
damp desirous death."

On Painful Throne

We make plans, conspiracies
To capture, Lovers lies
we want a stand, seal proof
escape pricking tongues of youth
Lies, invincible dread
surly we all agree,
ten commandments
truth concede
in swallowed regions
we confirm
Most in love
we discern
making plans, then tear to shreds
innocent
Hopeful, bless
the soul, who dressed in stone
sets the truth
on painful throne

Passion

PASSION

          Passion overflowing.
          Pearly nectar of heart
          Piercing obsessed feeling
          Pointing possessiveness.
          Pricking tangling craving.
          Persisting hankering
          Parching emotive urge.

Gone, Perhaps Forever

Someone very near and very dear
  leaves, perhaps forever, no offense
but he has his own right to life, it
just happens to be thousands of
    miles away...

and so I go about my daily grind
  grim-faced, gusto-less, ghostlike going
through the motions, until I feel
his message shoot through my veins

pricking my conscience and bringing
out the sunshine in my heart of hearts

Indulgence

sweet smell
pricking the air
who are you
why are we here
words as weapons
yet i can't comprehend
why you show me passion
show me love
when commitment cannot bend
and i'm left alone
heart to mend
such a sad goodbye
to myself
I'm left with these memories
no one to help
distantly present
swimming in thoughts
why you fell out of love-
 I thought passion
and you left me in knots

First Star

In solace of twilight, a red sun fades, while my window kindles a first star, sparking old reflections This one evening star has carried the weight of the world pricking the night for answers to ancient questions

Taskmaster Time

The rosy sun has gone to bed
leaving me awake and all alone
upon this mountain where I sit staring
at the twilight sky yawning to stars,
pricking at the sky’s deep purple canopy.
Give me longer arms to grasp time’s
swift hands slowing his perpetual clocking rounds . . .
somewhere weary hearts must find such space;
the rosy sun has gone to bed.

1412018

unseen thoughts of misery
haunt her brain cells
breakdown in her dreams,
wall of wonderland
demolished
she is tip-toeing through the pricking comments
love of a black hole she attracts milked stars
honeyfied, the sun be a queen of her galaxy
burning, turning men into ashes
she loves not of feelings
but atoms, matter

an ocean
most men drown in her eyes
8 hours to touch her ocean bed
7 falls 8 stand
