Very interesting enclosed rhyme, Clifford. I like the third line particularly... is the heart worn out? Is it sending a warning out to avoid being worn out further? Both are apropos, and no matter the selection, one would think of the other in this context. And your last line is great - walking away is easiest, but a lonely path, and that's not what we're here for. Enjoyed!
