I ride a pale horse
Mr. Time has come for me
Days end requiem
Through wind and cold rain
Teeming hard on road and steed
I make my way home
Chill, steaming vapour;
Silence over pale water;
Above the east gate...
Thin ribbons in the pink
Light.
I dip oars...and silence
Breaks.
Oh, no I couldn't
please just leave me to myself
I'm unpretentious
I just can't say it
Let me be my quiet self
I'd like to stay dignified
Love, my love has grown pale.
Lovelorn is alarming me, I fear loveless
Even though I have accepted lovesick.
Love I applaude you, you've thought me well.
A guard overseeing the king’s jail
Mocked the inmates without fail.
He spoke to them rudely
And treated them crudely.
Now the king has his head in a pail.
Child with the pale green eyes.
Ribbons of mud across your cheek.
Grasshoppers and ice cream are your life.
As you are mine
Child with the pale green eyes.
clamps down on joints,
a cold brokenness —
how pale are leaves this fall?

color important
strong emotions become pale
red out dated white
storm rages flower
wilted petals fly away
they return in spring
hued joy wraps my withered heart
pale passion shines with love glow

Sunrise painting sky palest shade of blue.
Break of dawn as usual with pale yellow hue.
Tint in the clouds of pale purple so true.
A gradient of gentle pale colours risen anew.
Through veined leaves of gold,
A pale light falters.
Fragile truths begin to break.
Each breath a failing vow.
Love lingers, nearly gone,
Listening souls go dim.
Pale zombie pumpkin
Absorbs the lives of *pepos--
Souls try burst out rind.
Pepo--any fleshy gourd fruit with a hard rind and many seeds, as the melon, squash, or
cucumber.
Tonight, I gaze up
at the ashen sky,
at a pale half moon
that is
... starlit.
With my groggy head
on my clasped hands,
I stare at pale stars
that are
... moonlit.
One day, you might say
There was no good morning
One day, I can say
Isn’t quite the same
One day, looks like rain
Comes without a warning
One day, pale day
Departs away like train.
Japanese Magnolia's buds deep pink
Opening in less than a week
Lavender to bright purple
Petals fall annually
Grace spring grass with last
Of their beauty
Pale pink 'pon
The Earth
Rest
I visited the sale
that was held in the vale
And found an interesting tale.
But that which made me pale
Was the rotten bit of kale
I hadn't realized it was stale!
So much for the sale
That it made me pale!
Hands down, the sleeper
Sits on a seclusive seat of hope:
Aging lips survey a feast
With disdain, and crust at the
Hair peach crying out for barber Enamel
Atop its push-up chair of
Amethyst and scarlet.
My anti-aesthetic garment spews out priest
Michael stands in river between olive trees
whose roots draw libido like Daphne's laurels
Apollo wore, in my drifting slumbering
pale Astro Projection where we meet again
Long forbidding fingers dig deep in,
Appearing black contrast on pale skin,
The puppeteer directs your gaze,
A brief view but the vision stays,
Ruinous renderings plague the brain,
His dark imprint now shall remain.
Yours, the pale-shelled cameo, dear
Moon-skied, Night-worn.
Hung from its pure starred necklace.
Pearls of the high-born!
Of you what's mythic featured
Afar, as dream-lit
Alike within clasping's reach.
Alike to claim it.
The distrust inflames me
A tainted image
An angel fallen into the flames
How could he?
He stained my fantasy
Stabbed my trust
Maimed my dreams
And now all i have are ashes of what could have been
A dream killed too soon.
Cold
winter
sunrise. Thin
light fractures the
gray. Weak pink and plum
ultraviolet rays
shimmer, a watery blue
sky. I turn my face to meet the
rise - cheeks washed with cold. An Icy fog
fills my view with the pale color of frost
There once was an Irish man named Ed Jog,
Who served time, for digging peat from a bog.
But it was beyond the pale,
Where he spent two nights in jail.
Before he explained, Pete was his sheepdog.

A single pale leaf
Letting go of autumn’s branch
Falls upon the snow
Sinking in the quiet earth
Sleeping through the endless night.
A leaf letting go falls sleeping forever.

My love for you is ill disguised
and many trying to advise.
A friendship isn’t ultimate prize –
I yearn from afar.
The flowers fade and vows now stale
as our future looks rather pale.
I dared to live beyond the pale
and yet, here we are.
