Notes About The Poem

Written 26th July, 2026 for Bite Size no. 150 Poetry Contest sponsored by Line Gauthier

A Pale Light Falters

Through veined leaves of gold,
A pale light falters.
Fragile truths begin to break.
Each breath a failing vow.
Love lingers, nearly gone,
Listening souls go dim.
