On grassy fields spread...

No Better Way
No Better Way

No better way could it have been;
Christ died and saved us from sin;
On cross arms outspread;
Buried in cave when dead;
Jesus has arisen, amen and amen.

Perfect Bloom
Perfect nice bloo-oom
Among my gloom.
You have contro-ol
My baby doll.

And when I see you
Your leaps, like cream
I wanna kiss you
Me entails dream

You have me
And I have you
I lie outspread
And listen bit....

Trump Is An Albatros
Trump Is An Albatross
(Worn around necks of supporters.)

For words whole church was at a loss;
He was beaten to death by big cross;
Wings outspread;
Wish were dead;
Some say that Trump is an albatross.

Tantrum
four years old he stood
screaming
in his window
a nice redfaced tantrum for all the
street to see
nice superman underwear too
his arms were outspread like he would
jump
and his anger
bellowed
silent
behind the glass...

Golgothan Solace
The wooden frame to which you’re nailed—
(Roman penalty)
With outspread wrists and spikes impaled
Transcends mere agony.

Between your brother thief and you
Upon His wooden span,
Sags a Shape soon raised anew…
Reprieving faith-filled man....

cherished clover green
coronet topped purple plume
search out the four-leafed sprite

eye to lawn outspread
taste of bee sweet blossom red
leprechauns key find

pressed between pages
still lucks’ keepsake enclosed
more sought than the rose...

I'm not alive,
but indeed I grow
even more yet
as I'm fed.

I have not lungs,
but must have air
and space
for my outspread.

No mouth have I
wherefore to lie,
but I'd consume lives
with my power.

If it's me that you
would strive to subdue,
give me a cold drink
and a shower....

Golgothan Solace
Oh! blest Dismas, Dismas.....

The wooden frame to which you’re nailed—
(Roman penalty)

With outspread wrists and spikes impaled
Transcends mere agony.

Between your brother thief and you
Upon His wooden span,

Sags a Shape soon raised anew…
Reprieving faith-filled man.

Rejoice in Paradise, dear Dismas!...

Premium Member Beauty and the Poet
Beauty floated to me on silken wind
And hovered hands outspread to offer free
The gifts of Muses tone and harmony
That I might write where scenes and visions blend.
Beauty (she rarely comes to mortal fools)
Pressed her precious secrets in my spirit
Whispered a dream--only I could hear it
Then shared with me alone the poet's tools....

Painting the Earth
When a rainbow is painted across the sky
And the colors are still not quite dry,
Any passing bird or butterfly
Will, with wings outspread, come too close
And be brushed upon with vibrant dose.
They will carry these hues away with them
To be spread to many a petal and stem,
The colors of which are reflected by
The vision which lingers in your eye....

Premium Member Wombtime
The pool was warm, more shallow than deep
in your arms I feigned sweet sleep
head ‘pon shoulder, tresses outspread
tendrils of water wash chin and forehead

Cradling limbs wave anemone like form.
Reminiscent of womb time and life being born.
Adrift as sunbeam in a celestial sea,
trust in the kind arms surrounding me.

Breathe in the sustenance of universal bliss.
Breathe in the gentleness like a lovers first kiss....

Brave: Gravity
Petals: pristine~pure desire float
lullabies roam aspheric space
touches reached just out of scope

Brave: gravity glides on outspread wings
with the willow weeping sullenly low
blanket in balance a presence bestows

Tight: comfort held in passion's show
lightening a starless~sterile sky
sacred secrets whispered overnight

Dawn: feelings warmed on nature's bed
dew drops glisten upon peril's view
rhythmic swirls arise affectless anew...

The Silver Moon
The silver moon
permeates its fluorescence
whilst dissipating the dark.

Gliding quietly
through crooked branches,
pauses and whispers
to the hushed leaves.

The leaves do rustle
by swaying sides
to show their glee.

The moon confers its
coolness to them.
Perhaps, the same is outspread
for us as cool shade.

Hypnotising Harm
Navigating center
my sail in the wind
waves pulsing by
only left to rescind

Discovering land
rich and bare
feet on the sand
sun stripping cares

Heating the skin
warmth can trace
Lillie’s and roses
all over my face

Tide creeping in
laps at my feet
slowly it rises
till we both meet

Seahorses twirling
around the seabed
seagulls are laughing
their wings outspread

Carried away
on a swell of joy
embracing the peace
pain cannot destroy...
