Notes About The Poem

I Am Thankful For - Sponsored by: Tania Kitchin written 12/6/2024

I Am Thankful For

For the luscious pure air, I breathe,
My life story hang round a wreathe.
Bed so soft to curl up and sleep,
Fragments of my life within, deep.

A gift of family outspread,
Closeness of love and joy so led.
Even tearful moments of grief,
Of loved ones, yet though time was brief.

My children were and still a lull
Feeling, my life never stayed dull.
Life I'm living I am thankful,
Not in my words are unthankful.

Enjoyed reading this, you have a nice list of everyday simple things to be thankful for which we sometimes forget to be thankful for. When I get in the bathtub, I say thank you to God for the tub and warm water for being able to get in there one more time. I will see what I can do about a new nursery rhyme. Sara K
