White

Wheatish skin, brown hair,
pink nailed, red lipped and kohl eyed
deep inside pure white
colourless, bland and at peace
not painted, tainted or dyed

Redolent reverie
Rain-soaked in raspberry
Roses most delicate
Runes woven from star seeds
Refulgent petals swirl
Russet thorns of my heart
Regrets etched in kohl quartz

Premium Member In Moonlit Dives -- Bite Size

Fireflies reel as autumn arrives
Shimmering into kohl of night,
Tiny plumes charm ...in moonlit dives
To rollercoast until twilight--

To later fade, die from my sight!

Premium Member Forsaken Flower

I’m lost in a field of forsaken flowers, counting crestfallen stars… and as the lavender moon ascends to rinse away cold kohl tears~ I call your name in soft cadence, pondering, will you ever hear me?
Form: Verse

Nirvana

entrancing soft eyes
whirlpool obscured in black kohl.
Van Gogh heart mix coloured sparks.
vibrant and vivid
a timber fire resurrects
Is it Life or Nirvana?

Raven seas,
spellcast waves,
~ singing hate

Revengeful tides,
strum the seashores
with soft cracklings,
bleeding kohl ice.

Smoked sienna soul ~
a cacophony,
from vintage gold-vaults,
shimmering with sighs,
a saga unheard.

Premium Member Fear Minichu

Heart silently shivers
when the roaring clouds burst in electrical light
mind quivers

Trembling in tears
breathlessness, as stars wane from sight
kohl fears

Inked sky
faded twilight
sigh

Heart silently shivers
breathlessness, as stars wane from sight
sigh

Premium Member metaphors of regret

I dreamt of a poem forgot the words As beneath the salty cold brine of tears silence floats, whilst I’m coloring kohl rain in metaphors of regret across blood red ruby carnations that bleed silken sonnets for an ocean-dipped catharsis

MERE CHRISTIANITY Minichu

Christ a phantom through my hours
flames within a kohl tongue
psalms crack the white cloth like a razor

On the way back
piercing kneeling knees,
a broken crown's mask

glistening
kindling
memory

Christ a phantom through my hours
piercing kneeling knees —
memory

Premium Member Blade of Pain

When city lights fade, red to kohl Sullen this dusk rising to cajole, Pain beckons its shades As flickering dreams sail on flights; To unearth memoirs that recite Wails stabbed like a blade. .............

White house picket fence garden
Black hair kohl eyes blue rose lips
Chef folding egg whites into souffle
Defrosting preparing cooking lunch
Sculpture of a laurel-crowned bust

Inhale a sweet antique floral air

Premium Member Orchard of Dragonflies

The sky scatters pixie dust~ across orchards of dragonflies; while in sunflowers, the stars do trust, tracing tales through kohl-lit eyes. A fairy cloaked in soft florals~ fragranced moon-mists and rhinestone rust. But within veins of golden corals, she weaves hope with saffron crust.

Eyes

Look into someone's eyes, and see beyond the pain,
See the hazy silhouette that they try to contain.
See the blue kohl, and the tears that fall,
And know that they've survived, they've conquered it all.

In someone's eyes, there's a tale to be told,
A story of love, loss, and battles of old.
There's a smoky outline, a shadowy past,
A history of pain that's too long to last.

A Song

Let me sing you a song dear,
of moors wide and skies clear,
of love that reside in amber rays,
wild blossom and butterfly plays,
spiders tangled in silver webs,
footprints on the receding ebb,
of smiles dripping with blueberry,
kohl eyed deer and rabbits fuzzy,
silent nights and crystal stream,
dreams bursting at the seams,
the music my dear would echo still,
in your heart remember, if you will.

Full Circle

The blue burst forth upon the trees
with the kind of glow heat lightning leaves
The paper wasps and moths agree
to incense dust the coral seas
As the velvet wonders drowsy yawn
the nightingale begins her song
They all perform this grand charade
to quell the summer's heat tirade
The fascination of the breeze
leaves rings of kohl on all the trees
and autumn exhales all it's zest
to bring the earth to her winter rest.

New Moons

Moon spills over like expresso coffee,
withheld in a pitch pitcherlike corset —

Where long her skin's lantern once mothered me,
over tonight are but marble shadows,

Craters' paled apparition in my sky —
those cold breasts now an invisible blur;

This adrenaline dark when light's in wane,
virgin drinks in her cup's phase finally;

Still through a kohl tongue she kisses my hate —
this moon reads newly with every pause.

Spiderwoman X

Kohl your eyes
with soot
Cover yourself
in girl. I am
locked in
looking

widow eat me. ha.
flounce and want
extracted from
propaganda that
made the jail
that holds us

you want the having
complicity on my
dream island. ha.
betrayal from
behind

annnnngnn release
white into that
black hole that
society hates
us
to
love

kiss me spiderwoman
my man will :
be consumed by
trust in
your fabric
femininity

HER FALSE MASK Inked shade, raw as nymph masked that strides with shawl, hung low to cloak dark pride… Full moon turns white, nymph' s face hides frames kohl mouth sprays lies, lures night with games… Bleached dew breaks guise when rain scrapes threads; farce bared to melt fear’s past; her dread… now free! ............. Premium Member Breathing Dreams

I sketch musky infernos with kohl ink
when dead wings of flurry moon lace my
copper blue lashes and ripples
of faith crash furthest seashores,
Draping stelliform-soul
in strokes of starlight
which drizzle as
lemon drops
upon
pink
sheet-
canvas,
So when red
letters twirl like
blood stained cranberries,
rose-gold amulets will
always save the salted flesh
of sun and wildflowers shall shine
as magenta peony-bows in
maroon hair-strings, forever breathing dreams.
