HER FALSE MASK
Inked shade,
raw as
nymph masked
that strides
with shawl,
hung low
to cloak
dark pride…
Full moon
turns white,
nymph' s face
hides frames
kohl mouth
sprays lies,
lures night
with games…
Bleached dew
breaks guise
when rain
scrapes threads;
farce bared
to melt
fear’s past;
her dread…
now free!
