We once visited Belize
It had the bluest seas
	I tripped in the water
	And bumped my daughter
Landing on my knees

Premium Member Woe to a Klutz
A klutz can't dance, has no balance

Premium Member Kiwi Felt Like a Giant Klutz
Kiwi felt like a giant klutz
Tried to fly, but he fell on his butts.
After six attempts, said “this is nuts”.
He began to walk then from huts to huts.
Here he comes; he is a p...........

Puck Muck
Higgs was a hockey player built like a truck
he was mean, obscene, and had plenty of pluck.
Other players called him Klutz
declaring they hated his guts
thus he advised them he didn't give a puck....

Kissing the pavement
Leaving skin on the street
Unbelievably quick
Taking your breath away
Zero to sixty my heartbeat
Instead of being careful
Everything is ..
Smack!
The klutz scars the sidewalk....

A Klutz
aches and pains
all caused by myself
trips and fall
making myself bleed
my fault
a klutz
greaseful
what is wrong with me
i trip over air
i fall over my own feet
what's next
i fall in the street
get hit by a car
and not make it that time......

Played golf

First nine
Went fine

Next nine
Not fine

He muffs
In roughs

Sand trap
Oh crap

Tough break
In lake

Bad hook
In brook

Blew putts
Some klutz

Hurled putter
In gutter

O'er par
By far

Disgust
He cussed

Clubhouse
To souse...

Beautiful forest
Hiking with brave friends I trust
I hopscotch across
River rock, slippery moss
Fell on my butt, soaking wet

I'm such a dumb klutz
Everyone laughs their guts off
Wow! That hurt my butt
Screwed up. No clothes I regret
Walked around soaking wet

Premium Member Caramel Apples
Someone asked me to recreate
a taste of our very first date
well I've got the perfect confection
smooth, creamy, and messy
that's my recollection!
I still can't believe it fell on your shirt
that's what happens to a klutz
trying to flirt,
the taste of caramel apples
will always be
a piece of our history...

Question Mark Existence
walking the floor
regular pastime
not about you
more about me

tweezers and splinters
droplets of blood as blues
not about us
more about life

accidental klutz
lumps and swellings
not about happenings
more about hurting

dynamic stone teardrops
cubic zirconium crockery
not about pain
more about truth...

Hark! Hark! The pesky dog doth bark,

And deposits indiscretions in the park!

Perhaps doggie wouldn't be such a klutz,

If masters would learn to mind their mutts!

Why No Poems
He asks me often
Why I did not write poems
When I fell in love with him

Dazed under your spell
I sure lost my footing like
A ball rolling down a slope

Words abandoned me
A thick cloud covered my brain
You think insane folks can write?

I’m sorry, he said
A klutz I am to forget
All things wrong always my fault

The old adage “variety is the spice of life” is quite profound!
William Cowper was the author and didn’t need to utter a sound
The words are perfect for creative souls
For mixing things up helps to achieve your goals
After almost 300 years his message still works
And intuitively I’ve long had that quirk
Now more than ever I’m mixing it up
I move around to different places to “fill my cup”
Sitting still for very long drives me nuts!
All I need to do is avoid being a “klutz”!...
