Hotdogs On the Run
With Baseball hotdogs on the run
Caught up in, excitement and fun
Watch where you go
Before you know
You might slip and fall on your bun!...

I will be
Grabbing a drink at the bar

Daddy's Dancing Dogs
I saw six sizzling hotdogs
jump off daddy's grill.

As mother played the harmonica,
our dinner danced down the hill.

With bun in hand we ran,
and we're running, running still!...

There once was a golfer named Joe Jessop
Who liked to eat his hotdogs with ketchup
   His girl opened a bottle
   Began squeezing full throttle
Whoa! That made Joe's little putter stand up!...

Still Empty In the Stomach
Hotdogs without the skin is like unrequited love,
all sorts with no where to put it.

Bravery pig with no city to save,
chopped liver makes it the same.

Beef tenderloin
and it followed the stretch to the fryer.

Medium rare
like it should be
but still not what it requires....

What I Ate
What I Ate

What I ate was not so great
Should wait and try to negotiate
Eat some other food instead
Before I had gone to bed
That will make me more sedate.

Hotdogs were really spicy and upset my stomach.

A Backyard Affair
I roasted hotdogs
in an air fryer.

We gathered to celebrate.

There was a backyard romance going on
right under our eyes,
divorce played tennis for a while
in an open court.

Strange how hotdogs
can spark secrets,
how warm hands will flirt
between cold beers.

When two left
adultery
hovered between them....

Our Friendship
Two peas in a pot
Cupcakes and icing
Ketchup and mustard
Peanut butter and Jelly
Hotdogs and hamburgers
Cookies and milk
Are means of our friendship.
Faithful
Radiant
Incredible
Effrontery
Neverending
Dauntless
Strong
Honest
Important
Powerful
And most importantly eternity
for the friendship we have will never end....

Fun and games over lights way too bright

On the way home feeling very faint sick
All that candy and hotdogs did the trick
When get home vomit uncontrolled
Mother my head has to hold
Found out next day measles will have to kick...

No Hot Dogs For This Dog
No Hot Dog for this dog
I'm a little puppy that loves to eat.
Ham bones, pork chops that are great.
But no hot dogs for this dog.
Pizza and chips they make me flip.
Ice cream and cake i can rake it in.
But please no hot dogs for this dog.
I'm the queen of the house, even the mouse don't get the chesses
Steak or nothing for me.
May be a taco for this taco.
Just no hotdogs!!...

A Summer Fete
The children’s pet show, hoop la, bowls,
With happy laughter in the air,
The stalls of homemade jams and cakes,
And smells of hotdogs everywhere.

The Morris dancers with their bells,
A beer tent full of merry sounds,
The raffles, prizes, vicar’s speech,
Collection box that does the rounds.

Ah, such a lovely summer’s day -
Until, of course, the rain stops play!

For Lisa's Fair contest...

Hotdogs
Sometimes I fell like a hot dog
trapped inside a bun
I need several supports around me
just to be good

I can't relish the good times
whenever they come
My past plays ketchup
no matter how fast I run

I can't ever find the strength
that must be mustard
I find it hard to escape
the never-ending cluster

So when my friends ask me
"What is wrong"
I simply smile and reply
"Do you know what's in a hot dog?"...

Aloofness
When the gathered families smelled
The aroma of sausages,
Hotdogs and spent firecrackers
On prior Independence days
I was sniffing the subtle scents
Of odoriferous flowers
That grew beyond the festiveness.
When members heard,” come and get it!”
From the self designated chef
I heard only sounds of nature.
When the people sat and said grace
For the food that was on their plates
I stood among the wildflowers
too intoxicated to feast....

Premium Member Favorite Chip Wagon
Welcoming red and white canopy
Picnic tables and parasols
Blazing cheerful tunes
Big smile
Warm hello
Fine how do you do
Cheeseburgers
Poutine and hotdogs
Hamburgers and fries
Pop then ice cream
To tickle your nostrils
Tease your palate
And taunt your bellies

Late October sunny day, closing up shop
Last chance for fries, burger and a pop

A Natural Lady
I like hamburgs and hotdogs.
I even like a brat.
At cookouts it don't matter...
Just cook up what you've got.

I don't mind getting dirty.
My shoes won't stay on long.
Don't let me see you cover your ears
while I sing my favorite song.

I like to fish with live bait.
I just prefer the worms.
You'll never hear me hollar
when it wriggles and it squirms.

I'm just a natural lady.
I live with mother earth.
My family says I'm normal...
for what their opinion's worth!...
