Memorial Halloween

Halloween excitement going out night
City Parks Department hosting fright
Costumes, games, clowns, prizes, fun
Chance to eat at least a ton
Fun and games over lights way too bright

On the way home feeling very faint sick
All that candy and hotdogs did the trick
When get home vomit uncontrolled
Mother my head has to hold
Found out next day measles will have to kick

Years ago the City Parks Department hosted fun things in the parks all summer..There was table tennis, shuffleboard, sports, there were pools, tennis and other..Then on Halloween they hosted a huge Halloween party..There were booths with fortune tellers, games, clowns, and some of the same things that schools have now for Halloween..Some people volunteered to help,etc..I got deathly sick..I found out the next day that I had the measles..No vaccines back them..Sara
