The Butterfly
I saw a yellow butterfly
floating gently in the breeze.
Or was it a lovely flutterby,
glittering softly through the trees?

Her freedom and gentility
were like a graceful ballerina,
flitting here and there and everywhere,
gladdening the heart that has seen her....

We have lost, yet, another imperfect friend.
A family man, whose lapse took decades to amend.
Whose congeniality in gentility will always abide,
whose search for universal equality in us still resides.
Let none who have not serve so reply.
Mourn, Edward Kennedy has died....

Gentility of dove alight and gift
me with your divine insight.
As sister moon in nimbus haze,
her rolling tides do my soul upraise.

In perpetuity I do pray this night
for visions, guidance from the light.
In nature’s sweet kiss and caress
enlighten me and give solace.

the

within:
a gesture
     splashed with

visible,
warm

our affection
out of all proportion
delighting
in the intimate

we feel it appear,
flowering
at the

Carrie At Cafe Du Monde
Her voice was soft on the telephone
She had gentility, like the part of the city she once lived

We talked of tragedy and chicory coffee
My friends had told me the situation was still grim

I asked her of Galatoire's and Brennan's
Of the Ninth Ward, and of her home

While I, pining and homesick, sipped coffee the color
Of the mulatto Mississippi River. . .

So polite and patient she was
For one who had lost everything...

Serenity is nature-induced bliss, bliss of gentle color-kiss. Kiss that sets the soul alight, alight in its ecstatic flight. Flight like birds upon the wing, wing away in song of spring. Spring will smile like waxing moon, moon of planting in full-bloom. Blooms of cereus in full flowers, flowers scent wafting through bowers.

Ovule gives way to fruit, an arising style with stigma flares pollination; marriage of pistil and stamen and a new life is revealed; a celebratory blush and petals shield gentility of bud; light waves meld with pigment, a thirsty flower births, sips mother’s milk as Gaia sculpts her 3D garden.

My Son
You cannot leave your life to chance,
Dancing to the tune of randomness,
& vanity;
the things that raise the hair on your skin,
You cannot live by bread alone,
And every word that proceeds from the media,
My son,
the world is a busy market,
Sieve the noise,
find the music,
Be the eagle’s eye, Find wisdom,
Learn the way of the ant,
the subtleness of a serpent,
& the gentility of a dove,
Be everything and anything,
Let your mind fly,
Fly my son, Fly....

Savior
I want to save you
Since I can’t save me
There’s lots of dust to sift through
But we’ll get there you’ll see

Mistaken paths
Hooded identities
Dissecting parts of halves
Vision starts with remedies

No more counterfeit strategies
We’ll drive the straight line
Try and see if we can finally be free
Speeding the midline drinking moonshine

Just dig down underneath
Find the adventure in anonymity
Vaulting secrets just to breath
Forge the future to clutch gentility...

Death
DEATH

Paddle round the world,
Born in one destiny,
The three in one trinity,
Reckon dust, death pave our eternity,
Gathered in one phenomenon and gentility,

Ah Mr. Death, knows none nor age,
wrage old and young in ravage,
Vital instrument you kill,
Beyond couldn’t see,
Oh death thy ways are meek and slow,
Your did harden to be known,
Tears can’t hold the dress it stains;
Death has taken its place.

Premium Member What To Do With Miss P
Although Miss P. was nobility,
Very scarce was her gentility.
She farted and burped.
And soup simply slurped.
Loudly too with no humility.

Let’s marry her off, her mother said.
Her gas is enough to rouse the dead.
Who would take her though?
She can burp a buffalo
Her shirt always full of food when she fed.

They arranged a ball for sweet Miss P.
For those who knew her would not tea.
Her burps made them laugh.
Her farts like a calf.
Amused guests went home laughing with glee....
