A Feline Song Upon the Winters Air
Within soft fluff
paw pads impress
gentility of tree,
in moon’s caress.
Iridescence bright
like brother Sun’s,
lends electric air
when twilight’s begun.
Yet soft, thy shine
upon silken fur;
my heart delights
to moon glow’s birth.
Ye crystal stars
in sapphire skies
your smiling faces
I joyfully espy.
