The Requiem
Sea clouds and sea foams
Quite, calm, requiem in nature
White, precarious roams....

Confession of a Poetic Wannabe
Everything around me
Turns into poetry--
But badly written.
My brain foams
Like it was bitten
By a rabid dog
Or like an angry mob
That doesn’t know what it’s ranting about....

Premium Member Laughter
Laughter bubbles up from deep within
it foams, gurgles, exudes joy, and spreads
until it bursts forth
and erupts into a jubilant noise
that startles me as it takes on a life of it’s own
and spreads cheer to all who hear...

Currents
Once upon another time around
past little deaths left
    in the sand
nevertide foams careless
    beyond
          beneath
exposed skin burning
Blue troubled currents
    pull deeply her soul
into unfathomed depths

How to Make Love to a Didgeridoo 19
She snaps like a brine tendon,
spilling embryo chords across the basalt shelf.
Tongues of nacre split her sides,
each vertebra strung with gravid silence.

Kelp-blind, she threads the continental rift,
her fingernails seeded with unfinished continents.
Magma foams in the pouch of her pelvis,
grinding up vowels like crushed coral....

Metropolitan Inferno
Rusty rotten dirty domes,
Wound the Heaven’s azure heart,
Chimneys’ souls rise to part,
Black giants’ filthy foams.

Metal hooting centipedes,
Pierce the hills’ rocky chest.
Shaking the jungles’ breast,
Roaring saw on trunk feeds.

Life’s teasing irony,
Knife to cut on the barks
Save trees in the parks!
Man’s mocking destiny......

Bashful bountiful beaches brazenly beguiling busy banana boats.
Gregariously greeting gracious green grass generating gloriousness.
Formidable foams frolicking forever free from formulating fickleness.

Pollution
To mill pond at dawn's new day

rippling sunbeams over the calm surface play
freely amongst the stately swans gliding there
in contented pairings, turning sees' a hare
and leveret munching on borage and honeycombs
breakfasting, as a polluted tributory stream foams
with poisonous effluence five hundred yards away

to mill pond at dawn's new day...

Should Doors Close
Should doors close when I journey inward questing for tints of awakening to free myself from your past ravages- and accept this burden of unrest. Should doors close against my earnest will as midnight tucks you in foams of sheet; I stand undaunted by ghastly thoughts Livening your numb heart, should doors close. Not For the Finicky Or Fainthearted
My mind is experiencing a fastidious flatulence; slightly fiendish, and not for the
finicky or fainthearted.
I fidget amidst it's fanatical far-fetched farce yet stand fearless, watching it's face
flounder in a foolhardy feeble-minded foible.
With fervor I say farewell forever to it's festering, feverish fetish, as it's frantic
fiasco foams, flails and finally fails.

Premium Member On Earth
Wind breeze rustling up leaves
Earth with grass do caress your feet
Waves are like coffee foams in a huge ocean mug
Your hands submerged and wet
You swimming in a lagoon, then a riverbed

Look up to see, tall snowy hills like icy iceberg tips
Valleys filled with a myriad of animals; natural is at rest in its nest
Flowers, flush and blush in their seasonal best
All creatures are at peace;
Visualize paradise and enjoy it there...

Before I Sally Off
Before I Sally Off

	Lost in Chicago

State and Madison.
Saturday, high noon.
Everyone and me.

Surrounded, I give up.
Against the curb,
the sea foams up

and in the distance
white birds soar,
black apostrophes

cleaver split
but still tangential,
rising, falling.

The light goes green.
Before I sally off
I look down and there

against the curb,
great white waters bowl
and people drown.

I Am In Virginia
I sit on the balcony
legs swinging, with a friend
hoping this summer
will never end
I feel the country breeze
on my face
Hearing many sounds,
that leave no trace
looking down on uncle Jim's farm
the fields are endless
the sun is so warm,
the fireflys twinkle
like stars, and swarm
the river runs wildly,
waterfall foams idly
dad fell on a slippery rock,
spashing by me..
The rain, pitter patters,
frogs on the pond, splatter
a drip, droppity song...

Moments of happiness drifting away
Silent days, lonely nights
I hear the ocean playing its song
Emotions are strong
I hear it so close and listening

Love conquers all for those who seek
Each wave, my heart might catch
Let all thoughts and words about yesterday's drop away
Even though the ocean foams ~ I love you without limits
The sky and the sunshine we shall always share together

Premium Member Frothy Clouds
Along the winding skyline, a parade
Of bird-tails on flight with puffed caress
Like giant pearls woven by moonshine’s braids
A hammock of foams swerving on crowned dress
To pass unto hillsides so wholly blessed

And fluid my breath I marvel the view
Reflecting peace, clouds transparent drift
Oh,wonder of shifting faces imbue
Such tranquil gait that cruises and uplifts
Lightening my woe as hushed froths pour mist.

Love light leaps
Spice sure sip

Dance deep drip
Taste time trip

Last light lifts
Glimpse grand gift

Joy juice jumps
Sift swift sum

Plant proud pet
Vouch voice vet

Mull mind mood
Flame fond food

Zip zoom zest
Quit quaint quest

Love leaps loud
Prize peace proud

Hope hurls heap
Dance dream deep

Praise prompt poise
Charm clear choice

Fear foams full
Proud plight pulls

Beat Red
I’d like to write poems beat red.
Like the color of my face
when white spit foams the lips.
I’d like an utterly violent embrace.

No pretense, nothing dishonest
about this undoctored rage.
Hold nothing back, let it all go,
tear off clothes, and punch the walls.

I’d like my poems to be suicidal.
Willing to jump off the Golden Gate,
overdose on sleeping pills,
a Black and Decker drill to the skull.

At least then I will have killed
for complete love of the poem....

Euphoric Dream
Whose mind so travels with delight
Upon this humid summer night
To places where it’s calm and cool
And sun does rise to make scenes bright

With weary heart the traveler roams
Eternal on, he’s seeking homes
A place to lay his weary head
On beaches, white where water foams

At last, he lay upon sand near sea
As water breaks, it blankets he
Who has now fallen fast asleep
Finding his tranquility

He’s calm and sleeps upon this night
While dreaming dreams of sheer delight...

I do feel that Mr Trump's been changed
I'm most aware..of a different range
Of vaccine speed in the weft and warp'
Billions talking in from the scoros corp
A human queen he finds so amazing
I kid myself not, that he's even hazing.?
I saw some UK pundits view; they say.'
He's changed.. and they're not kidding hey!
Is this just a narrative of more confusion
Will America charge into dissolution?
A sucker punch soon to deck the world.?
Hold on tight, the tide now foams and swirls.'...

Premium Member Her Renunciation
She walks barefooted in spiny shore
as dusk descends to snatch her heart;
Bloody feet turn curling foams
into hot crimson red~
melting her footprints
and her wild dreams
into smoke
that kills
her.
She
dances
with the moon
as the tide dries;
Her dolesome heart hails
on nocturnal murmurs
echoing from northern lights
as seabirds return to their nests;
She jumps in and succumbs to the sea.
