Premium Member a knitting moue
Hearing of a sitting mouse is as rare as a sock without a hole.
But today we have a knitting mouse, an afghan is her goal.
She has already made one for a fox, a frog and a foal.
This one is for her crotchety great uncle named mean Joel....

The Following
Awoke, did I,
to trap a dream
untrammeled in its art

But hurriedly it lost its gleam,
though I drew it part by part.

How to capture,
how to keep
such singleness of soul?

Such loving rapture,
born of sleep-
'twas one of heaven's foal!...

Easter Sunday
Easter Sunday

Early to church, for the AM service flow,
Songs of affirmation, as the Pastor welcomes the foal.
Excitement is in the air, signs of love and sacrifice,
On this resurrection Sunday, symbols’ of restored life.

The Queen
She prayed for a stallion,
But got a mare
She cursed not the gods for spurning her wish
Instead, she found the mare a stable
And lo, a beautiful stallion sired the mare a foal
That foal is now a stallion every groom clamors for
For out of him births another stable
She understood seasons, she overpowered time...

If only I could know
What keeps a heart alive,
Or plant a seed to grow
The food to feed a soul,
Bring comfort to Spring's foal
And help it to survive.

If only I could touch
What gives your cheek its flame,
Or love without a crutch
That time can cause to end,
But let this not offend…
For stillness speaks your name....

Premium Member Elf Owl Has Great Friends
Elf Owl settled in woodpecker’s hole.
Was chased away by an angry mole.
Was taken in by Pretty Mare’s foal.
Colt set Elf Owl up in a nice blue bowl.

Bully mole commandeered bowl, mean was his goal.
Chased away by Pretty Mare and her foal.
Elf Owl went back to woodpecker’s hole.
Sent a lovely note to Pretty Mare and her foal....

Tripping Foal
Young foals need to be nurtured and cared for,
with the right guidance and understanding,
They can live a life that's successful and
outstanding,
If abandoned, they will fall and trip along the way,
making tiny strides,
Bruised and hurt,
They may endure the sand and dirt,
eventually claiming their destiny,
At a cost that destroyed their self-worth....

Premium Member Midnight Brumbies
Neighing of the
Midnight brumbies
Foal and sand
At hoof
The call of water
Brings them in
Between crystal and moonlit hills
The fire is out
Black as
Midnights brumbies
Neighing down by the water hole
Among many
An antique camp
Dreaming camp
Ancient camp
The water
Brought
Them here
To lay near
The water hole
And the neighing
Midnight brumbies...

Premium Member Ace in the Hole
In the memory of my imagination
I recall the love of happiness.
Congruously convened in small cracks,
Between doubt and ecstasy.

Surfing through ever-similar variances,
Effused with vague purpose and undefined vigor,
I groove with the best.
And yeast with the least.

Let's take the adventure.
With endless overture.

I'll wrap you in my loving embrace.
My fox among the foal.
My ace in the hole....

Where be you so lovely
here I am alone in my bed
cold sheets, no passion, bit lonely
a dog on the patio, Ferret said

the night leans heavily on my soul
the girls that got away
too slow to catch a young poddy foal
too shy for a word to say

perhaps i'm meant to be alone
no clutter in the mind
shielas won't make me pick up the phone
better if i'm dumb deef n blind...

Child
Child is no longer a child
 when is chewing a chain
Chain cannot be chew
if child is still a child
What can tickle a child to laughter
can’t stroke a cat to sleep
Cat still likes stroke
but no fingers to stroke it back
Child is a gold in parent’s hands
 when child still a child
Child become a stick of pull on
when parent cripple to an old age
Child is foal
when grown into horse carry the cart of his family...

A Clearly Confused Man
Adult choosing a thousand roles,
In all the roles sizable holes…
His official first Name was Dole;
In anger dropped for Mr. Mole,,
Because another Mister Dole
Had failed in a conducted poll…

His previous celebrated goal
In a stable keeping a foal;
To other targets tagging ‘Sole’
But last year for Christ won A Soul,
His Bishop’s Staff a pole;
His thanksgiving in bowl…

A Clearly Confused Man:
Comedies you won’t ban!...

Poetrysoup
It has been too long since my last rhyme
And how I missed the soup
In which each taste portrays the time
Of every cry,yell,laugh and whoop

Hey there fella
Get me under that
Umberella before it rains them dogs
And cats

Again? Foal thing!
I promise I wont leave you alone again
Like the last time you cringed
When I slowly let that rusty door open

Let me weep weep weep
While you rhyme rhyme rhyme
Oh ,how rich would I be
If I heard that with every dime!...

The Hidden Black In Pearl
In my Pearl observed a hole:
The Hidden black of a mole;
From that day ceased to be whole,
From that hour A Big Charcoal
I should not give my prized soul
Or, else, smell not my set goal,
Play not a cherished clean role
Nor body support on firm sole...

In Pearl spotted a clear hole
For which folks I give a pole...

Pearl might fish catch: a full shoal
But won't out a quarter dole:
Feared men seek to ride like foal...

The Hidden Black of a Mole....

COPLA 93 INVOCATION : This Bad Guy World

The lone wolf shies away from the pack
The tyrannosaur scoffs at his kind :
Systems with it

Tiglons roam lone on the beaten track -
Fall prey the gnu foal lame and blind :
Systems well-knit

Stand alone and the pack will hunt you
Lose your integrity to live safe :
The human fate

The Overman’ll camp on the volcano
Far from the humdrum crowd’s stifling life :
Asylum bait

ALMIGHTY'S GIFT
Wonderful nature you are
to nurture the globe’s future
your patience is wide and far
to create a live creature
built to play many a role
as merry as a butterfly
in infancy o’ cutie
the father’s pet as a foal
so early you grow to fly
as a wife you look pretty
to be a mother again
but never complains a pain
Almighty’s great gift you are
your patience is wide and far
All men shall take a bow
Wishing the day glorious

I want to touch the prevalent stars
I want to observe the lonely red mars
I want to go to glide at north pole
I want to pet a foal
I want to c the pyramids
And the Pharaoh's of egypt
I want to roam around the world
Wth ny back always erect
I want to let my thoughts wander
I want to b a dolphin handler
I want to invent a solar car
I want to b known wide n far
I want to get lost in my dreams
I want to slide down on
Waterfalls n streams
I want to do everything...

Rubbed Out
Rubbed out

I stopped at a low stonewall
on my slow progress
saw before me a landscape painting,
ten sheep and twelve lambs.

I thought who that painter might be,
a sudden blur in the air,
when the picture cleared there
was a mare and her foal

five sheep had disappeared;
the painting looked better,
but I didn’t linger,
I wouldn’t like the artist to
think I was a part of his picture
wanting to erase me
for the sake of the prettiness.
of the landscape...

Love No Bounds
Love man, love woman true.

Love has no bounds or clue..

           Love hard and whole.

Love a Mama and her foal..

Love away the hurt and shame.

Love a sunset in a frame..

           Love today and tomorrow.

           Love away all the sorrows..

           Love others and stay true.

Love their falls and triumphs too..

Love against all odds of nature.

           Love wins above hatred.....

When last we spoke
	An image came

This latest journey
	The latest challenge

That will test
	The strength of

Our RESOLVE to
	Build upon the love

Begun long ago
	Now re-inspired

Hesitant at first like the
Faltering steps of a foal in spring

Struggling to stand
	Kicking up its heels

Now thundering hoofbeats
	Racing toward an

Ever closer
	 finish line

Two hearts then
	Pierced

By arrows from
	A Cupid’s bow

Souls now merged by
	Love in overflow...
