Midnight Brumbies

Neighing of the
Midnight brumbies
Foal and sand
At hoof
The call of water
Brings them in
Between crystal and moonlit hills
The fire is out
Black as
Midnights brumbies
Neighing down by the water hole
Among many
An antique camp
Dreaming camp
Ancient camp
The water
Brought
Them here
To lay near
The water hole
And the neighing
Midnight brumbies

Fantastic mood and imagery conveyed, I like this very much! Since childhood I've dreamed of riding with the brumbies. ~Maureen

Hi Maureen. They are a beautiful sight thou they do a lot of damage to the environment. I am conflicted as to whether they should be culled as with so many species going extinct If they can gain a foothold in any environment, why not. Thanks for your thoughts. Kind regards.
