Shaking off their slivers of warm dew
The produce watched in amazement
Wishing they had petals and stamen...

Premium Member Simple Nitwit Gnarly Gray Goat
gnarly gray goat was so plain, he was embarrassed by it.
he collected florals from garden and dressed up with wit.
thought he looked terrific, showed off his petals a bit.
behind his back other goats called him a simple nitwit....

Premium Member Pied Piper of the Florals
She is the pied piper of the floral world.
Flowers gravitate to her day and night.
They travel for miles to latch onto her dress.
She never slows down for them, but they catch up.
She is a magnet for roses, daisies, dandelions and lilies.
Lilly of the Valley is not fast enough to catch up....

Venus Fly Trap
Carnivorous blooms
hothouse fed,
thick tonged in lolling herds.

Feeding time is all day.
The flies are introduced
in humming shifts.

By evening
the electric buzz is dimmed,
the curvaceous florals ingest;
sticky throats absorb.

One dilatory black fly
drones on alone.

Meaty flowers listen -

wait....

Morning
Fresh air surrounds me
I close my eyes and
Surrender that sense

Notes of moss and decay
Florals carried in the morning mist
Caressing my cheeks

I want to move through
The soft morning air
Yet unwilling to open my eyes

I will savor the moments
Resting here in feeling
Before light begins directing my steps...

Premium Member Thought We Were Modern In 70s
In the seventies we thought we were modern
Utmost chic, sassy, on the cutting edge.
With our bell bottom slacks
And our bell sleeved shirts and dresses
Perhaps we were.
Everyone had the same pattern.
It was fun to see which fabrics others would select.
Paisleys and florals were vividly popular!
The polka dotted fabrics stayed back in the fifties.
But stripes were definitely a choice....

Premium Member Blossoms
Pretty blossoms bloom
Cast the floral room
Scented fragrance grooms

Pastel tints and shades
Perfumes on parade
Smells of mix charades

Poignant portrayal
In sweet pastoral
Such vivid florals

Precious moments here
Sparkle with fond cheer
Brilliant colours steer

Private affair flings
Aligns a sure thing
Blossoms rise to sing

Premium Member She Has a Style and a Groove
She has a style that is full of florals and spring
We watch her daily, for her outfit is full of zing
Today she has sunglasses with flowers galore.
She wears gorgeous things daily, full of amore.

She is glitzy and ritzy, and we love watching her move.
In the seventies we would have said she has lots of groove.
She is a fashionista who knows what to wear.
Always with a hood, so we wonder if she has any hair....

Your World of Windows
"Your World of Windows"

Your world of windows allow us to soar

you've built a life for every beast and man

Sprinkled with beautification are shades of florals

while voices of harmony are whispered from birds

As oceans flow such gifts are pearls to bestow

each horse running free is a vision of what should be

With sights and sounds that fill our souls

your world of windows is a story to be told

By Hamlet Place I see,
Autumn frames touch chilly;

Dry cold windy tells me,
Grim sense of wintry spree;

A message in the air,
Confronts a sudden flair;

Cold as cold can chill me,
A telling in a spree;

Dry florals yellow tell,
Drown as cold draft moves spell;

From here on I will see,
Winter blot white snowy.

Till then the way looks cool
For the sage and the fool.

Spring basks
Midnight moon floats;
Silver interlude

~~~~~~~~~
Cool wind
Slides over shiver;
Breezy massage
~~~~~~~~~

Darkness spreads
Shadowy tentacles;
Bleak black shades

~~~~~~~~~~
Shopping spree
Extravagant desires;
Cash and carry
~~~~~~~~~~

Birthday boy
Bundle of joy;
Another earth angel

~~~~~~~~~~
Plumeria florals
Reds and yellows;
Frangipani rapture
