Compassion within
reflected by each kind deed
done with loving thoughts
and good will toward strangers
without expecting reward.
Today I’m thankful for serendipity
How…out of nowhere…in a snap…
when we’re least expecting it
life can drop a blessing in our lap
dream time hopefulness
we close our eyes faithfully
expecting to wake
slumber peacefully
letting our soul float away
worry free carefree
I met the she-wolf’s gaze
She expecting me to turn away
For her a lost cause
Could she not know just how beautiful she was?
As a fear my fingers
Try to hold the airs,
And when I take a deep breath
Expecting me to come with it,
The last moment is just too much to handle.
Her comments had really startled me; I wasn't expecting any, you see
So I hid in the dark under my bed ~ Then I heard this, 'Please marry me!'
Today I’m once again thankful for generosity…

There once was a motherly ewe
Expecting a new lamb or two
In springtime they came
The ewe did gain fame
As the lambs they were born pink and blue!

I’ve fallen in love with a mermaid
We were splashing about in the water

do a thing about
it so don't come
to me expecting
to see your way
clear and outa it

I never had a wish list
understanding life was hard
expecting no perks or prizes
childhood dreams of fame
tossed into reality gutter
keen on country living
I live a simple journey on own way
sparing love values once a day
hoping having my slice of heaven
never expecting to come a doomsday...
I have heard enough of your growl;
I am well aware of your prowl.
When you wear angry frown,
You appear like a clown.
Why waste time expecting my howl?!
