I've been out hunting souls.
I need to fill so many holes.
Sleep upon God's holy altar
I will promise to not falter.
Avoid scribblers who say,
"Everything has been said."
For they have lost their way
And joined the Writing Dead.
Undelivered thoughts
Stuck in a postal limbo
Like lost love letters
With the only proof they were,
Random shouts in solitude
thick fog engulfs night
wading across fetid swamp
moon casts dim beacon
eyes of beasts monitor steps
owner's pursuing dogs howl
Tripwire slumber hush
blank catastrophic soulstice
cashmere solitude slush
tangerine blue hue cocktail
last summer older brother
As an owl flown hoot
Dreams howl
At the night awoken
Hoot and howl of night

the open-hearted you

Our dog drinks from the toilet bowl.
Which makes the missus howl.
She shouts its not a watering hole;
It's a place to move your bowels.
I wore a condom for my mate
and said it glowed to throw my weight.

The soup has spilled
boiling hot
into my lap.
Howl upon howl
cools nothing.
I must go
and leave an empty bowl
where it lies on the floor.
Form:
Beaming rays from moon,
infinitesimal clouds
foreshadows the night.
A howl sings to moon,
past the purple mountain range.
Dark, musical fright.
Runaways kicking cans
down the street, singing
haunting tunes to a
wolfmans moon.

wild prairie wolves howl
crippled this hunting season
moon clouds gathering
We once knew a fella named Abel,
Who loved to jump razor wire cable,
One day he made a slip;
Heard a howl and a rip...
So now we address him as Mabel.
