In the desert
My soul withers not
Her love is my hope
Blues lose the war for my heart
I stand tall against the flames
A lotus in mire,
A rose amid thorns,
A cactus in desert,
A creation in derision,
A song of beauty
Born in adversity!!

Amidst widening desert.
Faint lions whisper:
"globes warming, rains rare."
Sweet Home Eden, for how long?
Sleeping desert bed
Blue skies turn orange to red

Sahara Desert
Within this ocean of sand
Oasis’ exist
Let the joy that flows in the gate of affection
Flood your world like an ocean
And water your desert with a unique bloom.
Rising from dunes of despair after desert storm of strife,
I gather in the vase of quietude the strewn shards of life.
Rain
Wet cold
Falling soaking running,
Rivers floods desert summer
Baking heating drying
Hot warm
Sun
Swallowed in sun bites
to butter burn the dreaming
of men in sandals
with one foot in the desert
and one foot in mirages.
Rain deprived desert -
My heart - you came in drops
To quench my thirst

90% form mass
full filled limbs,
liquefied desert
of a water world
quench a thirst.

back for

Bedu nomads search the night
For the buried well
In the desert of the mind
A healing fountain will flow
Rhamnus so sweet fruits
leaves are good medical herb
Shade is lovers place
No side-effect, natural
A great semi desert tree

Your SMILE ...
Is like a raindrop
In the desert ...
It's all I long for,
Yet it leaves me thirsty ...
For so much MORE.
Onto the high desert of a low-browed world.
Lost in the me of their scratchy egos.
Doll-eyed souls raped by the gears of techno.
Franklins rise like brittle bones of the earth,
holding the heat in stillness,
while the desert sand drifts.
Desert thorns that sting.
Careful desert animals.
Both have great instinct,
Finding safety together.
Not permanent for either.
Rain in the desert
Saguaro's ancient arms lift
Nature rejoices
Darkness surrounds dusk
Clown beetles saunter about
Sought by desert rats
Moths gather at lit porches
As the black widow gorges
Death in the Desert
Good man dragged though the streets
not expecting such an inauspiscous end
Islam lovely Islam giving such treets

Oasis of life.
