My tear is an expression
A deluge of emotion
Flooding out of one’s torment
A need to lament.

a cloudburst deluge
everything comes to a halt
then rainbows appear

Cold Rain
clouds roll overhead;
face of Sky contort in pangs of labour
womb ruptures a deluge.

we are brittle leaves
the wind and deluge spawned life
the brook is overflowing

take one drop of rain
multiply it; speculate,
all that emotion
a little that gives so much,
if only that it was love.

deluge
old man winter pours buckets....
inside farmhouse wet
ingenuity in use
rain water poured in bath tub
anticipating this deluge
I hold weakly to protection
only to find this ray of joy
as sunshine lights the rain
your love blazes through my tears
#MeToo staff are climbing the walls
Their switchboard is flooded with calls
'Tis a stalwart crew
But what can they do
When sporting equipment has balls?
in her darkest hour
the tears
they came
in a deluge
but hope
would one day
soothe her aching heart

She's shifting the bedrock
She's dancing tectonic
And now I am drowning
In the deluge
Struggling to get to the surface
Fighting through the debris of my heart.
after the deluge
stilled cloud-shrouded land awakes. . .
flood of breaking day

Deluge Became Refuge
We had discovered a huge deluge
Of things stuck there in subterfuge;
Being brash,
Was all trash;
Had been tossed becoming refuge.
Jim Horn
I wish these tears
Would fill up a lake
A lake of the earth’s
Despair and pain.
I wish these tears
Would fill up the earth,
A deluge of joy
For all to share.
We
dashed through
the
rainy
afternoon
taking
a
moment
to escape
the deluge in
a corner
café.
Our
stormy
adventure
fueled
an
intense
love.
Wonder What Books She Has Read
Wonder what books she has read,
And wrote so that we will be feed;
Applied rogue;
Did deluge,
With critical things that she said.

Obscurity of the intense night
Is the quiet witness of love
Expressed without a restrain
Waking from the dormant
Allows the deluge
Flowing passion
Boiling in
The warm
veins
nothing like a good cry
you know you got it right
the ammonia filling your nose
you know you got it might
no wimps no tears just a total deluge
a cleanse of heart to meet no harm
Shimmering cascades of tumbling clear water free falling.
Tiny sparkling crystal-like droplets escaped the mighty deluge.
Sun soaked the waterfall glistened like diamond jewelry.
Shimmering cascades of tumbling clear water free falling.
Tiny sparkling crystal-like droplets escaped the mighty deluge.
Sun soaked the waterfall glistened like diamond jewelry.
Chicago, New York, San Francisco -- such
A deluge of immigrants -- they have clutched
At first they were trying
But now they are crying
Leaving out, "Sanctuary very much!"
The waters cold and unforgiving here
I breathe nothing but a deluge of fear
'Tis a shame to blame
The end of my rising fame
On tracked veins drowning my career

tired of bamboo pruning
i nurture a long sigh
while you shout for love
echoes lost too
the howling black wind
is that zen?
ICU in me
fighting the waves of emotion
a deluge in a day
