My Tear

My tear is an expression
A deluge of emotion
Flooding out of one’s torment
A need to lament.

That third line is memorable and worthy of movie dialogue. Thanks as always, Gerard.

Harry, you chose well that form, dodoitsu for your succinct poem on a tear! Mine is too long but when I go to the contest, it is telling us to disavow what was said in the blog about 12 lines being the limit.I hope I am ok to enter a longer poem. I'll see ya later. Will be offline for three days. Bye bye, Andrea
