The Secret
Forced to eat bran she kept candid
Due to the great new job she landed
Though she conceded
That it was needed
She didn't want to reveal she was bran-ded...

There once was a witch named Hazel
Mistook poison oak for sweet basil
She finally conceded
New glasses, she needed,
For Halloween spells reappraisal...

One Evening Out; Autumn's Last
What signals for Autumn
Its death knell?
This last felled leaf, sad as slow
It may tell.

Whilst not yet conceded
Led up out
Old lamped park's chiller diffused
Mists, surreal
City-stept, more lone, for it
Winter feel....

Can I Live In Your Lullaby
His voice, so soft and warm, across me spread
Like a wave across a beach, or a kiss
"Your voice is so lovely," I sighed, already
Half asleep, and asked, "Can I live in it?

And he said "No, you live in my heart now."
I conceded that this I would allow...

Wish
I wish
I knew
What you
Had needed
I gave
It all
Till I
Was depleted
My kiss
Your lips
No more
I’ve conceded
It aches
For you
My hearts
Blood red
My eyes
The tears
Like rain
Never ceded
The pain
For what
Love not
Ever completed....

Revealed
I cannot hide from the truth,
I strive from the risks of our love,
Fighting for the bulletproof,
Clawing from my white veiled glove,
Lifting off the influence of others,
Their conceded selves,
While we hold all the painted covers,
Along with the trinkets on the shelves....

Love Conceded
I have abandoned my quest for love!
For want of love I most ardently repent
With sorrowing heart I concede no longer
will I allow mine heart to lead!
So helpless a thing mine heart!
How sorrow doth plague me with it’s
ceaseless taunt.
I can find no ease of comfort or solace for
my soul.
For Loves glory hath grown cold...

What's more, if the omens haven't struck. It was conceded for God's understanding. He will bring it to you on schedule, so be calm. Even if it was simply you and for us leaving. Tomorrow your eyes will be cheerful. You see the mists, believing it's pouring.

Premium Member Soul unshackled
Without a second look, I burnt the book
For all words did was to muddle my mind
My heart has now broken free of it’s shell
And in wholeness of being I’m love aligned

Like an arm or leg, mind too is but a limb
So I do employ it but only when needed
My spirit is free and celebrates aliveness
Divine entwined, my will to God conceded...

Premium Member - Death Not Suit You -
When the clouds are thick and the sky is gray
Conceded by pain, from the eye it will flow tears

Should have known, but could not find the reality
A journey through her soul, you taught her to stand in the storm

Consciousness ripples along the back ... quiet and invisible
The sea is calm, as death black silk ribbon

Who Am I
Who Am I?
I am me
Not everything I want to be
Sometimes I feel I have to be
A person who isn’t me
Because of the life I live
I feel I have to give
More of myself than needed
Although this sounds conceded
I’m not ashamed to repeat it
Who I am
Is not me
Where can I be?
Oh my God I’ve lost myself
But found so many others
I feel like I’m hiding from myself
Am I undercover?
People say be yourself
But how can I be
When I don’t know if myself is truly me...

Don'T Need Me
You and I haven't talked in twenty-seven days.
How's everything? I know you don't miss me but I miss you.
Don't be so conceded, I'm not writing FOR you or anybody else.
Great imagination you have there, I'm sure I'm not in your mind.
What did I tell you?! I was right about you not needing me.

By the time you get this, two years would have already passed.
Have fun in the sun don't stop because of me.
I know this isn't my best work but at least I'm writing TO you....

The Walking Race
A stranger crossed me on the road
And after my rapid pace he took note,
He challenged me to a walking race
To a finish line without a place

The stranger's longer legs made for fierce competition
But my younger age gave me the ambition of one walking away from ten years in prison
We laughed till he became a friend
And forgetting the end,

My feet broke into a run
And I conceded defeat once I realized what I'd done,

But in crossing paths I still felt I'd won....

Bonsai
I like to show up early
  He was always late.
  I planned my every move
  While he relied on fate.

  If I decided somethings wrong
  He would decide it's right.
Like a willow I would sway
Like a maple he stood strong.

We pruned our likes and dislikes
  Much as trimming a Bonsai.
We focused on the good parts
Tossing off the bad to die.

  Our compost pile of cuttings
  Began to set us free.
  Eventually we both conceded
Love is simply meant to be....

After Math
My
Darling,
I do say,
Upon my soul,
And in the after-
Math of this past winter,
When the two of us became
Enstranged like Roman letters,
Counting and counting as best we could,
But missing the word which would change our world,
For sometimes in systems there are flaws,
Bugs and blind spots that create holes.
Nothing can be completed,
One Goedel conceded,
But still that zero,
Missing in us,
Was the word,
Whose world
Was

What our love needed to be awakened to....
