Comatose and half dead
Yet hearing every word they said.
It couldn’t be worse for me or them.
Expect my death, and pray-Amen.
I'm living in Oklahoma
That green country fresh aroma
Life sweet as could be
All fine and dandy
Till I lapsed into an okra coma
Bill stands firm to overturn DOMA
Trying to avoid Congressional Coma
Bring in "Supreme" gavels strong
The fate of Love sings new song!
rose’s the quintessence
well-wrought love's music hides in
coma plays with in
he staggers out
after beating wife to coma...
cirrhosis is near

You're 3000 mile away
its 6 am
I'm in my own bed
dead asleep
my phone rings
its 3am
but your voice could wake me from a coma
you're 3000 miles away
and its only 3am

Shegaurd wakes from her coma
afloat in a Viking pyre craft
too far away to be seen by the mourners
she dreads the flaming arrows
hoping the archer’s aim will not be true
The cork bobbled up and down;
the river ran; chased by mother wind.
The lonely wino took to coma
like fresh fish out of water.
The fallen bottle dripped drops
of lost dreams.
That's like saying the foul aroma
Could possibly put your brain in a coma
Disintegrate your socks
Near the back end of an ox
May even give you a case of glaucoma
Barry loved flowers
Especially their smell
When Barry sniffed them
He became very unwell
He must be allergic
To their lovely aroma
Oh Dear! poor Barry
Has fallen into a coma
Listen to poem:
Coma
As I spoke with loneliness
it echoed its dreams
in faint whispers
a trace of me
air silently
breathe
life in
me.

It's the only thing on everyone's mind
We will survive this nasty one-of-a-kind
It's crept up on us
Or I've been in a coma
Haven't left the house since early last July
Chivalry is not dead...
Chivalry is not dead...just in a coma, on life support,
waiting for a woman to come along with the defibrillator!

She was lava lamp pliable
Easily moved and positioned
Flippy floppy appendages
Ridiculously compliant
Rare signs of life
Loud breathing
Danger of falling
Bed sore bound
Six year coma
It's the only thing on everyone's mind
We will survive this, it's one-of-a-kind
It seems to have crept up on us
Or have I been in a coma
Haven't left the house since a year ago February
Attack, attack…
leaving no room for fear
Charging ahead,
driving the past behind
Fate in a coma,
never really dead
Lying in wait
—for that final misstep
(Villanova Pennsylvania: August, 2020)
It's the only thing on everyone's mind
We will survive this, it's one-of-a-kind
It seems to have crept up on us
Or have I been in a coma
Haven't left the house since the middle of February
I wish I could visit
the vacant crystal palace
of your solitude;
to hover
just one inch
above your body's coma;
to cauterize
the thugs assailing you
to direct
this story's ending
with the end of me.
Trump Finally Went To Sleep
When Trump finally went to sleep,
Into coma that we wish was deep;
Liked to liter,
And be bitter;
While he enjoyed being big creep.

Approaching 6,000.
Wish me luck.
Choking on its wealth…
America now suffers
The Acid Reflux
Of a life at ease
Suffering poor health…
A country now drifting
Into the coma of denial
—and no longer free
(Villanova Pennsylvania: February, 2016)
You occupy all four
Your love is the donor
You‘re my heartbeat therefore
Your love trauma
My induced coma
A heart transplant, no time sooner
My healthier flora
My rhythm, my drummer
Your beat in me forevermore
