Sonic Coma

The ocean below screams in public
Sleeping behind ear-splitting applause
Anger, anger, with peaceful thoughts
And actions, actions, I don’t know
The man they call monkey face knows
With explosions surrounding every
Move he makes
Crying in the darkness with sunrise
His only hope
Dewey asked me do you always smile in public?
Yes I replied sunshine warms the world

With all the turmoil in the world today a smile is the simplest way to share some warmth. If we all smiled a little more, we'd probably have less anger and be blessed with peaceful thoughts. Nice work, Jimbo! Love, Carolyn
