On Hearing the News

Comatose and half dead
Yet hearing every word they said.
It couldn’t be worse for me or them.
Expect my death, and pray-Amen.

Heck this reminds me of my nursing days. The pain, upset and sheer frustration for the patient in a coma obviously but also for those visiting too and feeling helpless. I'm surprised this didn't get more comments Linda. Good work. Cheers - Gary

Hi Gary. Yes, strange to not have attracted any comments even though it has more than 700 views. I suppose acknowledging reality is not everyone's idea of poetry. LOL
