Not a Bull In a Bar
Lao-tzu riding
a bull but it
wasn't

bucking around
it actually
looked

like it
might
want

to graze
and so
he says

life is
how
you

ride
it
out...

A bucking mare that was named Annie
Liked kicking at each nook and cranny.
Since Young William was brave
He then mounted this nave,
Annie's hoof was found stuck in his fanny!...

Spirit
Kicking up pillows of dust
   in desert dry
      depleted of hope
In his magnificence
he prances
    stomping
        bucking
unrestrained
17 hands raw
    black as death
nostrils flaring
fire eyes raving
    muscles taut in
anticipation
of the continuous climb

Chasing Wild Stallions
Chasing wild stallions
Taming the beasts
Was her goal, so it seems
In her dreams
Running after them
They, who can’t be tamed
She, who can’t win
Chasing wild stallions
Taming bucking steads
Enormous goals that are bittersweet
Leave now, while your mind is intact
For' tomorrow your heart surely suffers from panic attacks...

Between the end of
Winter and the buds of Spring--
    Stuck in Frustration.

    Between the end of
Winter and the buds of Spring--
         Anticipation.

   Spring's Bronco Bucking,
Nature's poised to burst forth--The
     Calendar shouts 'Halt!'

We cowboys on this side of the pond
Get out of bed with boots and spurs on
To ride our bucking bronco golden stallions
As you mount your nags on the weak side of the ocean

Yes, we snicker as you call elevators 'lifts'
And your truckers call a semi a 'lorry'
But daring to call a cop or a smokey a 'bobby' ~
Odds bodkins, bloke! Please say that you're sorry!...

The Feet With the Beat
Moving fast moving slow
Memphis bucking is the way to go
Flying low, slide high
I think i just walked thru the sky
In the car to make a dash
goota go pick up some cash
Riding out feeling good
Nothing stupid going on in the hood
Bank teller asking what you doing here
Trying to make sure this check clear
Got my cash about to roll
Damn look like Memphis took its toll...

Bucking Did Duck Did Chuck
Bucking Did Duck Did Chuck

Have you ever seen a bucking duck cluck?
Maybe he fell down and did not suck
Into the oats and grain for he could not duck
The bucking, clucking, duck could not fill up on muck
Could he wallop an ugly duck of Chuck’s wallop of pucks?
Of woodchuck, woodchuck then maybe he should pluck, duck.

Premium Member Star Bucking
I could see untamed in her fiery eyes
but I'm way to old for a wild ride
but once upon a time I wrangled on in
tried to treat her like a lady and nearly died
taming a bucking star is emotional suicide.
If I could do it all over again
i'd toss the saddle, rope and bit
spur her hard on the flanks
make my way down to her lips
buck her until I spilled my brains
jump off and never look back again....

Premium Member Painter of Widows and Orphans
beautiful red headed bucking star
brilliant whorls- green aurora eyed
quick minded sprinting faster than light
thought I could tame it-bring it to the knees
but she's also a teaser, artist supreme
painter of widows and orphan dreams
she bucked me off like all the rest
into a black wall of red star regrets
here we lie broken, gazing at the sky
praying for another chance for a
wild bucking star ride...

Befuddled
in the middle it all muddles
like warm milk that is now curdled
once it cuddled all soft and swaddled
no longer a rhyme, no, more a riddle
a heart that somehow becomes raddled
a canoe adrift without the paddles
a bucking horse without a saddle
a losing team that needs a huddle
in the midst a great big puddle
it was always a losing battle
all it does is squeak and rattle
all of this leaving me befuddled...
