The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

Spirit

Kicking up pillows of dust
   in desert dry
      depleted of hope
In his magnificence
he prances
    stomping
        bucking
unrestrained
17 hands raw
    black as death
nostrils flaring
fire eyes raving
    muscles taut in
anticipation
of the continuous climb
