Throw all of us under a bus...

Slick Limerick
There once was a Brit called Jack Horne,
Whose trousers were tattered and torn.
As he took his pants down,
He observed with a frown
His boxers were equally worn....

1968
1968, the only year
Since the Great War,
Supposed to ensure
We would fight no more,
No combat deaths
Of any serving Brit.
A sobering fact.
But do enough know it?...

One is going back a bit with this hit
Three Americans one French and a Brit
They made fools of the Hun
Without a single gun
In a P.O.W camp brimming with wit.

There once was a young native Brit
And his head looked just like a tit
He would squeeze it for fun
Just to make people run
Then his friends would suddenly split

I’m so concerned for Britney Spears;
She’s dancing to a Timberlake!
The “Toxic” singer’s shedding tears;
I’m shocked some people think they’re fake.

Danced “Holy Grail?” She must be sick;
She shows such pain on Instagram.
I’m not here for the nudie pics.
Here for you, Brit, I really am!...

I learned that a Brit will take offense if mistaken for an Australian,
and that Puerto Ricans take offense if mistaken for Mexican.
Canadians take offense if mistaken for American,
and Jamaicans take offense if mistaken for African.
Understandably, the great apes take offense when mistaken for human ....

Alan W Watts: Rip Great Lapsed Pastor
I
Alan Watts says we live forever
In children if we can bear
There is no joy in going on, ever
And ever as a dying tree or flower

II
He was a brilliant Brit, knew nirvana!
Died as American, in California
Barely making 59 years, once pastor
Presbyterian in Pennsylvania

III
I need to research why he quit
He was undoubtedly good at it
For faithfulness few scholars matched
His authenticity, universality. Unmatched...

Roughly speaking hindus are Indians
North Americans protestant :
Give or take some

Most catholics invest Europeans
Plus the South American continent :
Save Brit Kingdom

Almost all the Malay world’s muslim
Likewise Maghreb and the Middle-East :
Africa mixed

Buddhist tour à tour East Asian
Chinese orthodox Slavs communist :
Rest animist

Premium Member War of Independence
King George was fast running out of money
Tried to squeeze more out of the colony
Thirteen states said no
Told George where to go
Saying "thank you, but we'll run our own country"...

Paul Revere warned the British are coming
The yanks said "that's ok we ain't moving"
Many heroic acts abound
The militias stood their ground
And soon had the Brit Redcoats a-running...

ENGLAND. Year Posted 2007
Rainsoaked fields,pastel green,
perennial impressions of country scenes.
Shire counties cramped and compact,
neither temperate,changeable and inexact.
Seasons merging into one,
winters' mild,summers of sometime sun.
Ancient,historic and quaintly modern,
pub-grub,village greens and cricket squares sodden.
Precedent law,judged by our peers,
diverse opinions expressed sans fear.

A language now a global gift
its English please never use 'Brit'...
