Ladies fingers some soft
They are a lot at home fronts
This lady breaking bricks
A huge thousand one time
What tricks?
Tinkering with red and green bricks
Older than legos, redoubtable fun
Yesteryear’s rudimentary dream house
do know
the dying crane
has it spoken in to
in to your brain
so what of the sticks
magic now
not covered in bricks
who said how
she tasted of honey, dew
Her worth is more than gold bricks
her essence smells of lavender and merit
fond railings ever pleasant dreams
bricks spent in Spring
a scant leftover
azure blue surplus

non-traditional haiku
4/5/5 syllables
Medieval rose
Multifaceted colour
Fired by strong sunlight
Lucent prism, incense smell
Bricks and mortar come alive.
School
Bricks, windows
Reading, writing, playing
Teachers, policemen, paramedic, doctor
Shooting, running, hiding
Terrifying, tragic
death
Ding dong, bing bong…
When it comes to this leadership… moron, Looney Tune, lunatic, dumber than a sack of bricks, umm… yep, sounds about right.
Man's
palace of wisdom, has been built
by
using the bricks of human errors!

struggling to breathe
the choking hold on my chest
your hard words like bricks
bury me deeper
bearing the weight of your love
until I’m breath less
Bricks and cement do not make walls for a prison
Only cruel minds and premeditation
Is it not murder?
Is it not fraud and theft that locks one in?
Hairy brush dips in colours,
Touches the surface of smooth old wall
Sets and dries with embrace of sun
Bricks change colour, like from dusk to dawn
there is a me in here
… (somewhere)
between the mind, the ego, the inner child
those are the bricks. i’m looking for the house
Carolina
clay soil
red with iron
fired
kilned hot
red clay bricks
a hawk
soaring through
lotus blue sky
a vulture
soaring higher
not a sound
Form:
I wish I could tear
down the walls between us, but
everytime I
manage to break some bricks I
need to realize that you
are the one who makes new ones.
In Oz most things had a glitch:
Like bricks from red to yellow did switch;
- Monkey things
- with flyin’ wings;
And ... the water’s bad – ask the witch!
Build bricks of peace slowly, strongly to create an empire of unending happiness.

There once was a man from Gibraltar,
Who didn't do what he oughter?
He wore gigantic big socks,
That he filled up with rocks
He also stole bricks, stones and mortar.
I BUILT A WALL
SO HIGH
ONLY A SLIVER
SEES THROUGH
ENCASED
IN GLOOM
DREAD PILED HIGH
CHAOS LOOMS
PUSH BACK
PULL THROUGH
KNOCK DOWN
THE BRICKS
AND BROKE FREE.
Heaviness felt over the shoulders
As a sac of bricks that drags you
To the deepness of a calm lake
Drowning to undiscovered emotions

Politics are just that, politics
Can't take them serious they're lunatics
Most of them anyway
Exhibit every day
Like children, their heads are like bricks
There once was a dumb builder named jack
who put bricks on a sink in a stack
didn’t do what he aught ta
Now the floors full of water
A mistake that then got him the sack
Daily toil is yours
Bricks all laid in perfect form
Art from skilful hands
For my talented husband
have read a few great senryu today and thought I'd try one.
If I were to take a sledgehammer
Grip it tender but tight
So its iron skull may send
A scathing speech to your sternum
Would bricks take flight,
Or are you truly that dense?
Have you ever seen a summer eve's full moon through a tree?
Sitting on bricks in the warmth of a night that is somewhat cloudy;
Peace with no traffic as you moongaze solitarily.
