A boy called Charlie Oats
Has feet as big as boats
But he’s no fool
When he goes to school
He doesn’t walk, he floats
Distant thunder roars.
Another thirty minutes,
All scout boats grounded.
beauties
unruffled
on a steamy day
float in boats rowed by their beaus
white silken hands folding their fans at sunset

pipping stars
?
beneath a blushing sky
two idle boats
savour
the bliss of solitude
our fingers entwine
[Inspired by Shahbaz Majeed’s "Misty Dawn".]
Seagulls,
waves,
seashells,
ocean swells,
distant boats,
rocky islands,
mist,
fog,
spray,
lighthouse,
end of land,
end of poem.
If I was a Rocky Mountain Goat
I would wear a furry overcoat.
I would walk rocks
Ignore all clocks
And jump off cliffs onto river boats.
its hot
now its your lot
take a stroll
where the fishman load
now time FOR THE RETRIED GOAT
and water bummer
FISHING SUMMER AND BOATS
Your eyes, migrant boats
when they found mine
of frigate, experienced navigator
Then they asked me for a pier...
Like boats through the fog
They reach the shores of our thoughts
Bringing back the old,
All the scents and melodies
Felt without using senses
She’s got seas of fire.
Raging, lovely, sun-drizzled fire.
But still you give her
those little wooden boats
to sail upon
her flaming waves.
its white corlor bright
its wide
has map guild
over ride the tide
good or bad weather
will not fail
flow like a wale

BOATS ON SALE
i
Like toy boats on a pond
The ducklings swam in precise line
One by One
They ducked down, bottoms up
Treasure Hunters
One held a fish in its mouth
Blue sea chased the shore
as colorful boats went by,
through diamond sparkles.
Coarse, gold sand feels great sometimes,
when teal sky is in the sea.
....................Slumber
Some big seas roll in
the breakwater is pounded
fishing boats at rest

Big boats - Little boats
Motor boats - Sail boats
Speed boats - Slow boats
And Fishing boats
Just sitting on the beach
Watching all the boats go by.
Two mighty boats beached
End of voyage reached
Captains’ judgement call
Rust consumes them all
Run aground and caught
Well-laid plans for naught

O, Viking Gods of the Norse
you governed the mighty seas
your boats were built of gopher wood
and you made wise use of a breeze!

sail boats in new york harbor
free to celebrate
who is winning?
me?
my bike?
the ferris wheel?
the loud carnival barkers?
or the boats?
the boy turned to see
amazed it was him
It might have been his first win
It's not simple to find a train at sea
or eye planes climbing on the trees
never got to sight ox fly
fish swimming in river dry
boats travelling rails sailing free
Our hooves, claws, horns and fingernails
To pick up objects like straw in bales,
Made of keratin, rarely affected by ails,
Helps us to raise our boats with fine sails.
Seaguls are flying
Javed and Nora are no
more
To see the surging tides
The two broken boats
are now
Buried deep in the dry
sand.
