Paper Boats

Vastly open seas
Rainbow puddles
In eves of grey

Memories of sailing
Paper boats
Across the bay

Amid a great big world
Innocence of a little boy
In time floats away

A touching thought about the loss of innocence. You are always a wise philosopher touching the plight of life.

A pleasure to read your poetry today Michael. I will try to come back later this week to read more. I have a spring cold and not up to reading for too long. Have a wonderful week. Love, Carol
