School Bus Safety a Must
Remember when you’re driving you’re driving
Beware walkers, bikers—it’s a big deal!
All need to keep on safely arriving
So eyes on the road and hands on the wheel!...

Daily Safety Message
The students on your bus count on you every day
so do not let your attention from the road astray.
Pedestrians and bikers might not be easy to see
crashing into them will take more than a knee.
Look with your eyes and see with your mind,
safety comes in all direction and sides....

Me On a Radio and Megaphone
Loud announcements on my radio and megaphone
Heard all over the school ground and parking zone-
It’s raining prof drivers, take extra precautions,
Drive slowly on your route, looking in all directions!
On the left are walkers and bikers on the right
Go straight, let your attendants help kids to alight!...

The Bikers of APC
Bikers passing on street nearby
Young and old, they pass by
With their strength and determination
Their enthusiasm sparks inspiration
On the steep uphill, they ascend
Even tiredness won't make them bend
For the glow of their bright rays
Lights their flames in many ways

Daily Dispatch Message
Good morning to all our school bus operators,
watch out for bikers, pedestrians and demonstrators;
the weather man is predicting rain, so watch the kids,
drive slower, and avoid quick stops, and sudden skids.
Besides all that have a wonderful day and smile;
because we need you and your job is worthwhile....

Winged Warrior Indeed
WINGED WARRIOR INDEED
^WW^ is also a jigger
They don't come any better
He jigs from dusk to dawn
He's a real 'go-getter'
His many friends love him dearly
Especially Curtis and Charlie
A bond of love and friendship
Like bikers love their Harley

Homespun / Maine 2004
Nostalgia draped the counters and walls
The smell of bacon sizzled in the air.
Diners in baseball caps and ponytails
noisily chattered there.
The grill popped
to the teakettle’s screams
To harmonize with the babies cries
sitting on their Daddies knees.
Time drizzled by on the Chevy Belair clock
like the syrup on my Johnny cakes
while the waitress kept a pouring coffee
to the bikers, their cravings to abate....

Sister By Blood
Her name if Flo
Two letters shortened
Her skin is bronze
Her hair is auburn colored
A Sergeant for the Police Department
Hates bikers, especially clubs
Loves her badge more then her life
Heart colder then ice
A selfish soul
Greed has struck her
Guilty of lies and false statements
Her words are false
Her love is fake
She will cut you
Then watch you bleed
She loves none
Not even her self
Her time will come
You will see...

I do not know?
Refuge
Whitecaps on the river;
White clouds in the sky.
I’m sitting on a bench with winds
That billow from on high.
While joggers pass behind me
And bikers pump their knees,
Some dogs on leashes strut their stuff
As I enjoy the breeze.
There’s sparkle on the water
And sunshine in the air;
I’ve things I should be doing
But for now, I just don’t care.
This promenade’s my refuge,
To settle and unwind,
A place to find a little peace
And leave my cares behind....

Are They Cats Or What
The bikers headed into Kalamazoo on a mean pink bike.
The guy yelled to a passerby-er, “why don’t you take a hike?”
His old lady yelled for him to run over the old guy’s foot.
We had never seen such meanness from a biker’s soot.
Are they cats or what? Someone asked, and I said, “For sure.”
They were as mean as cobras crawling out of cow’s manure.
They have a certain cattitude we had never seen in Kalamazoo.
I was glad when they left, as I am sure you were too!...

Safety Measures
Let us trust the Lord* for today’s safety
Mindful of child-transport security
Being alert is indeed tough duty
Along our road responsibility…
Midst bikers, shared accountability
Those crossing, concerned sensibility.
*Psalms 118:8 “It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.”

Party Life
Bright lights flashing,
music pounding,
drinks flowing,
guys comeing, guys going
no inhabitions,
no cares at all,
no one get hurts when they don't take the chance to fall,
taking chances
that you never would have before,
acting careless and stupid
yet feeling so unsure,
singing to the music,
dancing to the beat,
a different bar on a different night,
cowboys and bikers
and lots of fights,
meeting new people,
making new friends
being so happy
until the party life ends....

Dressed In Tight Leather
I’m ogling fit blokes dressed in leather
They’ll wear it whatever the weather
Phwoarrh these blokes are so butch
I can look but can’t touch -
My hubby keeps me on a tether!
Some biker chicks wear low cut tops
My hubbie’s jaw instantly flops
He stands there and gawps
His eyes on two stalks
I’m glaring, therefore his ardour drops
We have around. 40,000 bikers descend on our little island over the next two weeks for the TT races. Fun fiction poem
