Premium Member Stones Sharks and Bones

trying to keep sinking relations afloat
is like patching an old boat with stones
for certain It'll go under
sharks will move in to plunder
then crap out your miserable bones

Premium Member Sharks in Shallow Water

When does the sand stop the shark?

When will I understand the
simplest song?

Why do the heavy heaves
of my (core of a nut
in the pit of this) heart
respond to piano?

Do I always fantasize
about lost romance
played to music?

Helen Jane Long
isn't making the air beautiful tonight
just for me

But, thankfully for me tonight,
she helped me reignite
my own self-beauty, and sight

A Drink Of Let Go

A Drink of Let Go

Hardy Levis shorts
Stuckup seesaw
Let go of forgot
Now playing
To my mistakes Sounds of chord Shapes in time
Echo at the end before
The meeting has begun
I can't let go
I say what is life
On any casual day
Will I miss the flowers and the.trees
There's a girl over there
we latch on instantaneously
To each others soul
Maybe she can help Maybe setup my life
Maybe I can live again and always do whats right
But I am really living in someone else's dream
Iam seen praying to a human replicator
Praying not to be changed
Serving mischief
Marinated reefer
Wrapped up and traded for gunpowder
The money man
Final wish
Shark food

Premium Member Swimming with sharks

In times where eyes are fixated at your sins,
judgment trolls in deceptive double standards.
When pointing fingers nobody really wins,
there's no joy in being defamed and slandered.
Swimming in an aquarium full of fins,
sharks will bite your flesh then leave you abandoned.
Scars will bleed with pain making you feel brittle,
hard hearts will laugh with insults that belittle.

Afraid of exposure honest souls retreat,
when their character's stereotyped by lies.
Frenemies hide behind a mask of deceit,
their envy is an embarrassing disguise.
Decline the pedestal they place on your feet
emancipate from enslavements that chastise.
Stay clear from those who act like a spirit thief,
growth from ignoring spite gives you self belief.

Sharks and Paddlers

"Sharks and Paddlers"

That one’s like a pilot fish
follows up the ladder and down

snakes and ladders
sharks and paddlers

That one’s like a pilot fish
lost without a body to cling to

Sea of Sharks

A shiver finning slowly and meticulously through the currents of an empathic sea
Wanton eyes peering and hungering because they're bloodthirsty

Yes,

Clearly!

The thirst for blood is present
But just any ol' blood won't do
It is the highly coveted blood of an empath that's in their view
Now, the great hunt ensues
An indomitable quest to satiate an insatiable parasitic thirst
So empath, I implore you to beware
Beware of that cold, desolate stare
And oh, beware of the beguiling smile
It's just a disguise to lure and defile
Let's not forget the handshake
When you're awake, you know when it's fake
And do, please, please take very good care
Your blood is top shelf and there is a sea of hungry sharks waiting out there

peter marks, rhymes with sharks, warns the people
To be sharp.? Your life he wishes I note to save.?
He advocates 'a new stab' in three months its to be
Made.? I thought in the (dark winter) exerscise Col
James Bush implied in 2007 that process was live.?
Maybe i'm wrong.?? But lets move along; to the latest
Jingle sound-byte or song.' Dear old Dolly Parton put
One out, quite stab positive, that I don't doubt I
Wonder did she charge a fee.? Or was her service only
Free, yet move along..Its a fast paced time, kinetic
Screens and 5g tuning fine..its all about our health we
Hear, self preservation and promoting fear.' Is that a
Good way to keep us fit.? Just listen to the narrative ?
I don't see bulliten boards, agin rolled out those 1940s
Innovations sticks and suits, a politicans roundabout '
Such a sideshow..Aimed i think at the over 60s if we
Stop to think ww2 spirit was invoked I hope the planners
Curl up and choke.' With these as friends we struggled on
With their (well-wishes) lectures advice quite wrong?
Well here we are, society split..Or divided as I call it.!
Such easy prey..? I pray to God its not the case maybe
I'm just odd.?

Swift, agile predators,
sharks patrol coral reefs
swimming silently and
stealthily among the
shadows, they pursue prey,
surgically culling
sick and or injured fish.

Premium Member Triathletes and Bull Sharks

She's a triathlete, dialed into a lifestyle of dedication and clean living.
Logging lonely miles down isolated trails.
Where grizzlies and perverts like to dwell.
She bikes upon the veins of a big city.
Cars filled with smartphone addicts and assorted crazies.
Buzzing within inches of her lean ambitions...
(She has much more faith than me).

She dips into the salty black sea at dawn.
Where the bulls and tigers abound.
Splashing about like a wounded fish.
She's the bravest person I've ever met.
So focused -so oblivious.
It's a miracle she made it to the starting line.
Let alone the finish.

Premium Member Desert Island

beneath circling clouds
in the depths of the ocean
with little nearby
lies a speck of an island
of but thirty-five square miles

green mountain rising
from which hot lava once flowed
most toward the west
where the people live today
in modest isolation

not quite as busy
as during the Falkland War
a remote haven
for whale and turtle watchers
and those not easily bored

the Two Boats village
an airfield called Wideawake
the days are long past
when lookouts stood chilly watch
so 'Lil Boney' wasn't freed

amid the high seas
and the bluest of waters
a little island
not so much as forgotten
as never really known

Premium Member Sharks Are Just Shy Bullies

sharks much maligned, have
an identity crisis
hard to see passed Jaws

Premium Member Watching the Sharks

I know it is my wedding day
but I need to study the sharks a bit longer
Her mother left her then.
Her sister kept harping for a bit
Eventually wandering away too

What am I getting into? She asked the sharks.
Is he a good man, or will the evil side come out?
She had a friend whose husband turned into an abuser
The sharks swam past at a leisurely pace

She stood there for a long time, communing
They answered her in the best way they could.
I am ready, she told her father.
Are we going up the aisle or out the back door? He asked.
She loved him so, he knew her better than all the others.
