You are Brave!

You're braver than you believe, a hero in disguise
Your heart beats strong, with courage in your eyes
Though fears may whisper loud, and doubts may creep in tight
You're stronger than you seem, and can face the darkest night

Your mind is a treasure trove, of wisdom and insight true
A wealth of knowledge hidden, waiting to break through
Don't sell yourself short, or doubt your own might
You're smarter than you think, and shine with light so bright

So stand up tall, and let your spirit soar
Embrace the bravery, that's been there all before
Draw on the strength, that's deep within your soul
And know that you're capable, of achieving your goals

You're braver than you believe, and stronger than you seem
And smarter than you think, with dreams that can beam
So go ahead, and chase them, with confidence and poise
For you are capable, of reaching the highest of joys.

Premium Member Death of Me

The death of me
Will mirror your soul to me
If you see yourself
Come dance with me

Take yourself from the room
Hide behind the tree
Sell yourself short of me
Let’s join me now

See me beneath your feet
Death of me
Come to me
Say what you want of me
I can’t hear you now

One Day

One day
The stars will align
And the hard times will all make sense
Please
Don't sell yourself short
Of the blessings to come

Premium Member Choices

Life is a collection,
and series of choice.
Understanding and learning,
helps give us our voice.

Some choices are easy,
and some can be hard.
Make each choice yourself,
and deal your own cards.

We are what we do,
and not what we have done.
Don't sell yourself short,
life has only begun.

Keep your eye on the mark,
don't forget to reminisce.
I have faith in you friend,
come on now, you got this.

Premium Member The Best of You

Saying "I Love You" isn't just a commitment to another.
It's not a phrase just reserved for a relationship or lover.

It's a commitment to yourself and own sense of worth.
It's a gift you were given on the day of your birth.

So don't sell yourself short just to please another.
Love yourself first, you were gifted from your mother

Greet the world with the very best of YOU...
Your worth it, your priceless and pretty special too!

Premium Member An Idiot's Guide To Prostitution

Do you prove you're a whore or more sell yourself short
When you say, "I'm a Christian! I'm Right! I am SAVED!"
Is there 'FAITH' in this statement? Don't whores know they sin?
Don't most alcohol addicts confess they're not strong
In themselves? Who brags that days sober proves win?
Is forgiveness of self more a drug that you snort?

Is there any sin worse than unwarranted pride?
Are you confident sin can exist that's not yours?
Friend, to know that you sin is your first baby schlep
Toward pure Grace and the magical, mystery tours
That humility shows us; it's part of the prep
For an act in the big tent, not show on the side!

You're a whore, and you know it? That's step up for some!
But to see I still sin does not mean I resign
From all hope. We can shine yet! The Grace that we give
Shows connection to Christ, though in sin we still pine
For what's certain. In "FAITH," in Christ's death, let me live
And give bearhugs to 'Johns' who think I'm one that's dumb!

Trophy

Keep pushing with power,
Continue grinding with passion.
You have a dream to meet,
And a goal to reach.
Work hard everyday
Believe that you will be paid.

Be driven by desire to
Burn hotter than desert fires.
Anything less than your best
Is settling for what is left.
Don't sell yourself short
By wishing and never doing.

If you want it, got to be
Willing to work for it.
No one will just hand it over,
It's not an undeserved gift.
A prize worth the effort
Of every sweat gland,
Pouring out of your pores.

Surrounded by clear glass,
Sits a mass cup of shiny glass.
Displaying a work of art
As beautiful as a pure heart.

Alone

Open your eyes and embrace the darkness around you
You are alone but this feeling is brand new

This is not a feeling of isolation and despair
This is not a feeling that you need to beware

You are once again becoming whole
You are regaining life and repairing your soul

There will be no more self loathing and insecurity
You will be born again and your heart bathed in purity

You are not a worthless being
Relinquish your fears and grab the time that is fleeing

Give all that you have to offer and don't hold back anything
Be someone full of life that isn't afraid to swing

Reach for the moon and all of your dreams
Explore all of the lows and all of the extremes

You are worth so much more than you give credit for
You are worthy for someone to cherish and adore

Be all of you and never sell yourself short
Offer yourself your time, love and, support

Yes, you are alone
but step back and look how much you've grown

Start All of the Fun Horn Haiku

Start All of The Fun

Should always support
And never sell yourself short
Or mission abhort.

Do run with plan
And know that you are their man
And know that you can.

Slippery when wet
But you can do it no sweat
Be sure goals are set.

Does sound so scary
Living in monastery
And is cold very.

So for goodness sake
Will have one more to make
Away game then take.

So around why mess
More is always more than less
Can straightened out mess.

Succeed I have done
Saying prayers to Holy One
The fun has begun.

Premium Member Academic Proverbs

A passage, I read,
in the book of Academic Proverbs,
"Seize the day
and reach for the stars".
Along with many others like
"Follow your dreams,
don't sell yourself short,
and raise the bar".
There was no doubt the wisdom
behind these words.
They resonated well with me
until I got to thinking...

... who created the day
that I'm seizing too?
Who created the stars
that I'm reaching for?
When so many things
must work so perfectly
just to keep me alive,
who am I to ask for more?
The sky is the limit
when it comes to one's dreams.
But who might I ask
gave me the feet
so that I may chase them?
My eyes take in
the beauty of moonbeams.
My ears are perked for
the rustling of the wild oak.
It's always Me, Myself and I
is that not the way it seems?
Life beckons me forward,
but no, that's not all she wrote.

"Seize the day
and reach for the stars"
Profound words,
indeed they are.
But certainly not
everything...

... not by far.

Chin Up

It's Not The End of The World
Just Because You Can't Seem to Win
Tomorrow's Another Day
And Time Will Help You Mend

The Good Things Are Not Easy
They're Tough And Hard to Get
So Don't Pretend or Lie
And Don't Give up or Quit

Be Just Who You Are
Stand up Straight And Tall
Believe in What You Do
And Let it Be Known by All

Let Them See You Fight
And Let Them Know You Care
But Don't Sell Yourself Short
And Always Be Honest and Fair

File These Things Away in Your Mind
And Remember These Words I Speak
They're From Me to You..
To Help You Be Strong and Not Be Weak

A Voice

I heard a voice ask “why?”
“Why what?”, I replied
What are you doing with your life
I just don’t know sometimes
Don’t you know you’re special
So why do you want to blend
Why sell yourself short
When you can set your own trends
A natural born leader you are
Pave your own way
You have just what you need
To maximize your days
You’re a genius
I know
You know
Why not let it show
Stop trying to get by
And do your best work
You’re brighter on your worst day
Than what you may believe
You have all you need
To achieve
Above all your hopes and dreams
Because I called you
Really, you gave this to me
Yep, even now, while you yet dream
Praying for revelation
A glimpse of the future to foresee
I know who you were
I know who you are
Yep, even now, while you yet dream
I know who you will be
Even when you won’t believe
What does that mean
You’re running,
From yourself,
You lie,
The voice asked, “Why?”
“Why what?” I replied
Again, the voice asked, “Why?”

Solid Relationship

God wants us to have a solid relationship with Him

So when satan comes at you you’ll have the power to win

You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you

Never sell yourself short no matter how hard it is to get through

In building your relationship with God our Father

You don’t have to be perfect just a willing heart to follow

He will give you all that you will ever need

To continue walking your journey in order to succeed

You will need patient in order to hang out with The Holy One

He’ll guide your life so that you won’t ever have to run

Having a solid relationship with God is by far

The best way we can go the distance with Him without needing a car.

2 Timothy 2:19

Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having

this seal, the Lord knoweth them that are His. And,

let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

Telling

sell yourself short
go ahead
make excuses
go ahead
I'll stay and watch your mouth move
and read your
pontification
but I know you are settling
for less than you are worth
my friend
your fear of being alone is harder, stronger, bigger
and you'll avoid embarrasment any day
how do you explain
to man after man
how you got your house
and your money?
do you lie there
and lie there
and tell tales of how you ripped the skin off your
ex-husband
to ensure your own freedom
I'd pay to see it
if they knew the tale
they might wonder
if they are safe
tell them
