Premium MemberI am the world

when our body-mind dissolves
ego recedes, soul evolves
with soul an offshoot of God
Who is known when heart has thawed

entering thought cessation
dropping body sensation
we as consciousness expand
obeying our heart’s demand

whilst humming a soundless verse
we swallow the universe
as the breath of God Himself
and then behold light of Self

our true Self stands outside time
and space, mirroring God’s chime
feeling complete, bliss replete
as light that does not deplete

from God comes Self, from Self soul
in pulse dual, in its role
each module merging with source
when life has run its full course

there is as such no one here
yet all are one, to us dear
God is in us, we’re in Him
in these dreams in which we swim

Premium MemberTHE ESSENCE OF YOU

SOFTLY FALL INTO THE MOMENT WITHOUT A CARE
BE IT IN YESTERDAY'S GREAT SORROW
OR TOMORROW'S MUCH NEEDED LAUGHTER
EACH HOUR YOU LIVE TODAY WILL BRING YOU CLOSER
TO THE BREATH... FOR YOU ARE THE ESSENCE OF YOUR
SOUL'S INTENT !

COME HOME TO THE DAWN DEAR SOUL,
BE AS BRAVE AS THE EAGLE THAT FLIES IN THE SKY,
WITHOUT A SINGLE BACKWARD GLANCE !
RETURN TO THE ESSENCE OF WHO YOU TRULY ARE
AND EMBRACE THE GOOD THAT IS REFLECTED IN YOU
JUST LIKE EVERY BIRD WHO FINDS SHELTER DURING RAIN
FOLD YOUR WINGS NEATLY AND ERASE EVERY SEAM
YOU TOO CAN PLEAT YOUR LOVING HEART AND REST,
BENEATH THE WONDERS OF THIS BEAUTIUL WORLD !

SINK SOFTLY INSIDE THIS MOMENT,
FEEL THE ESSENCE OF WHO YOU TRULY ARE,
A PRECIOUS SOUL HAVING A MIRACULOUS EXPERIENCE,
HERE AND NOW !
NAMASTE

HOW COULD I??

CHERRY WAVES
HEARTS I CRAVE

lust is a battle
don't see me waver
lust is a savor

savoryyyy
honey, ur so sweet
my delectable treattt
coming home with me?

no?

okkk

I never thought it could be this way
But now my honey's left me astray
She never thought to stay
My darling girl has ran away

Her name was Vanessa
Golden hair to her toes
Vanessa, my queen
I never gave you a rose

A love so unfair
It couldn't be shared
My darling girl is done
Up in smoke, vanished in air

I love my dear
This is true
It's just as sincere
That I love you

Through turmoil and valleys
We climb together
Through treacherous journeys
We faced the weather

No matter the time
We're always better together
I love you, sweet girl

In your Arms, I Wander

I am the writer, reader, and spectator.
Lying down in your arms, my eyes wander.
Just look into your eyes in quiet solitude;
My tears say all in this interlude.

My small victories—chess and writings,
My journeys to places where I chased my cravings.
You see it all and understand without judging,
Like the few who backed me and keep me hoping.

I remember the shiverings of my fingers and fear.
I endure and live in moments far from dear.
I crave true friendships, togetherness without filters,
Recall my missed ambitions and my refuge in pleasures.

I look to restart, refresh, and gather my straws.
I fear to look back on fifty years’ scars.
You gaze at me with tears of compassion,
I seek refuge in you to pour my passion.

Hear ye

To be safe is to cozy up with your past,
Like that old sweater you can’t throw away—a bit frayed, but a blast!

What you see is what you get—
A masterpiece of chaos, like a cat's hairball at your feet,
Born from the brilliant art of dodging responsibility,
And a grand delusion that mistakes are just "creative beats.”

To love is to pretend you care, oh dear,
For something outside yourself—like that plant you forgot to water, I fear.
Yes, most religions have turned this into a thriving market,
Selling “selflessness” like it's the latest fashion—what a racket!

Stained with the colors of thought and wishful dreams,
Dulled by contemplating cultures—you know, the usual schemes.
And if you ponder long enough, who knows?
The future might just wink at you—but only if it shows!

But man—oh, what man dares to take a peek,
At his own quirky quirks, his blunders, and, let’s face it, his cheek?

He is king at heart, ruling with a laugh,
In this comedy of life, where we all play our part—just look at the staff!

Onions

my dear friends,

i am writing to address
a memory of sorts:
a lovely barbecue,
evening, on the beach.

you all brought
ingredients
to pile on my barbecue.

you all brought your onions
your palette knives
your cutting board
and one of you were
cutting onions.
                at the beach.

the juices, they pricked
pricked my sockets for droplets.
oh, it was lovely,
the sizzling crackle of veg.
and i took my chair,
i examined the burns.

the sizzles, the pops, how the knife had painted
the onions
onions!
red onions in the sky .

it scorched my eyes
oh! the taste!
and you were all so thrilled
to share your creation

the meal was fantastic
filling for the night, but for days after
i couldn't rid myself of
onions
without cutting them away from my eyes
so i vaguely remember
in a dream like state,
one of you took your palette knife
and scooped them out for me.
i cried and shook for hours in relief!

and, oh! what a time.
and, oh.
onions.

Premium Memberletter from God

it is alright child, take your time
as heart opens, you’ll feel love’s chime
entwining your pure heart with mine
whence easy becomes life’s long climb

in time you will too see the sign
as God’s light, we all are divine
just pause in stillness to reflect
how head and heart may now align

flurry of thought forms flow unchecked
this oh dear child is our defect
what is transient is unreal
be not in illusions shipwrecked

slow down thought flow and simply feel
God’s breath that imparts zest and zeal
the surge of joy, onset of bliss
know love alone’s the real deal

we’re not body-mind, we’re not this
where is the ‘I’, when lovers kiss
reclaim now love and light of Self
peace where there is nothing amiss

Premium MemberLetter To Me

Addressing me, Dear Dear, My Dear !
How could I wonder, what you are?
Simple an advice , can you hear ?
Take care of yourself : Am I clear ?

     Lesson in preparatory :
      Serve others , it's mandatory
     to place in top category
     and throughout life to carry.

     Have courage to act righteous
     with selflessness ! Oblivious.
Keep fit yourself to help others.
     Lend helping hand to sufferers.

      Self confidence is your pivot
      Dynamism is your pilot.
Honesty is sail of your boat
Take bricks of truth to build your fort.

Already you have reached last phase
Now to leave all whims and craze,
as death is stepping to erase
       your involvements and golden days.

My inspiration

Positive mindset satiates my hunger,
In dark clouds, it finds silver linings to see.
It carves out success, not as a warmonger,
And its bravery swirls like tides in the sea.

Walking its paths fuels daily ambition,
With it, no time again will my self-trust fade.
No setback can stir the winds of submission;
My will makes failure retreat, deep in dismay.

Struggles create success of long duration,
That spark is a flame that I hold to chest dear.
Lasting success will demand dedication,
I pray that God's favour will keep my path clear.

Their gatherings draw me, my footsteps align,
For there, their uplifting voices rend the air.
Their kindness and courage in harmony shine,
Building new bonds through the wisdom they all share.

The hope in their lives remains my guiding light,
Proof that all dreams can be within easy reach.
It isn’t just how long one groans through the night,
But how one learns from the lessons life can teach.

Higher Self I call upon thee

I could have been anything I chose to be here
Cannot remember why, knowledge is dear

For some reason I chose this existence
I have been conquered, I need some assistance

Give me a sign so I may find my trail
Pain I have caused, myself I have assailed

Higher self you are needed, I call upon thee
The existence between us, so I can be me

Dear Self

Author Dana Redricks
November

I know life has been hard, and you have to struggle with a lot of things, but your struggles have made you who you are, you come so very far.

You shine like a beautiful star. Your heart is as big as your smile although you have miles, and miles to go your greatness is beginning to show.

No one knows what you have endured, the sleepless night, and how often you had to fight. Your compassion warms my soul and I hope you stay until you are old.

Welcome back, dear me
let’s sip vintage wine and merry be
awakening to a radiant dusk exactly as is,
 caressed by sheer madness igniting
a dance a swing with a playful breeze
and to soak in evening’s tickled mist,
as reaching out to others completely
 drains my core like an overused machine ;
my quality time lessened slain by kindness...

Now, my days taste the cherry of life
indulging in forsaken passions leisures denied…
Yes, it’s all because self-nourishment
rings aloud: buy that violet lipstick,
paint the moon with enthralled eyes… throw a sinful dessert party and ride the carousel with complete abandon!

If Mom calls and neighbour Pam asks for extra help in her garden, I’ll wink gently—
Say no. For my heart is running empty,
It needs to be fed with jazz's tempo
without the guilt trip. So, I’ll smile at my body
And leave all for a while, as real love begins
with me, lifting this soul on the halo of fire--

My Future Self

Reflecting on the miles, I've traveled so far
I've walked through shadows, and wiped away scars
I'm not the same soul, I used to be
Time has taught me, to let go and be free
I'm still a work in progress, with flaws so dear
But with each step forward, I dry my tears
Life's journey unfolds, like a morning dew
And I'm slowly becoming, the person I'm meant to do
I'm finding my way, through the dark and the light
And embracing the beauty, of this endless night

All in self are sunk

Birds fruitless trees forsake,
Swans and cranes leave dried lake,
Courtesans scarce to wealth-less cling,
Counsellors leave a corrupt king,
Honey bees flee from lifeless flower,
Beasts forsake a forest on fire,
Motive-dunk men in self are sunk,
In this world, who to whom is dear?

                                     In the Shadow of Sunlight

In the shadow of sunlight, I do tread
On my journey alone, but not lonely
As solitude I do not fear or dread,
But cherish as a boon dear and homely.

In the shadow of sunlight, I do lie
In my garden in the shade of a tree
With the mind longing to fly to the sky
In search of a realm where the soul is free.

In the shadow of sunlight, I am spurred
To peer beyond the veil to scan the truth,
The inner self that lies deeply cluttered
And needs to be liberated since youth.

In the shadow of sunlight, comes my muse
My soul with poetic flame to infuse.
