Shuddering to the mirror.

Is old and gray and dirty;
¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦
This morning she is thirty.
Shining ¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦¦ star,
¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ twilight shining,
Haunted ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦
Miranda is a-pining.
Silly ¦¦¦¦¦ silver girl,
Draw ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦ toward you;
Time ¦¦¦ makes the years to whirl
¦¦¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ he adored you.

Loveliness made woman?

To seize the day he sees the day
As the elusive moment that it is
Wandering aimlessly from the herd
Beguiled by a drifting scent of more
Muscling his way into the lead
Leaving a mindless wake behind
Believing lost moments will follow
The shadow of his passing presence
Unaware that he is the moment
And time life’s metronomic warning
I have counted mornings
not by calendars
but by the stiffness in my hands
and the patience of the kettle.
Once, I believed
life was a ledger of later—
save the laughter,
postpone the journeys,
wait for a day
that wore perfection like a crown.
But time, that quiet thief,
taught me arithmetic of another kind:
subtract hesitation,
divide sorrow by kindness,
multiply wonder wherever it hides.
Now I rise
not to chase youth
but to greet the fragile, golden present—
this breath,
this light leaning through the curtain,
this sparrow rehearsing joy on the sill.
Seize the day, you say?
Ah, do more than seize—
taste it.
Let it stain your fingers with meaning.
Call the friend,
Forgive the wound,
Walk where the sky is wider than your worry.
Love without the timid grammar of “someday.”
For I have learned,
as twilight gathers softly at my door,
that a well-lived moment
outshines a thousand careful plans.
And if tomorrow comes,
welcome it.
But today—
today is the miracle.
Seize or be Seized
I wake 6, sleepy
I wake up I will win I feel this deeply
I will not let them take my joy
I am not a toy
I arrive at 8, awake
I will win and take,
Take this day,
Take the suns golden ray
I sleep at 9, victoriously
I took the day it did not take me,
I won today, I will tomorrow
I will win and swim not drown in sorrow
in vibrant colors

in the wind the bubbles float
the effect impacts your mood

Once I cried “carpe diem”—pluck each moment bright—
But now I know: no soul can truly seize the day;
We can but watch it vanish into night.
Time slips through grasping hands, in echoes vast,
Like memories we hoard—“This too shall pass.”
Before we sense its passing, a thousand moons have passed,
Leaving only footprints fading from the glass.
Open your heart—learn to forgive, let fractures mend.
Time won’t endure; only the love you send
Will bloom beyond your time—compassion, gentle, kind—
Impressions lasting long after days unwind.
We cannot hold on to time, nor merely let it fly.
Still, there’s so much waiting—for question, life, reply.
By living fully, learning wild and free,
From five years old to ninety-five, there's more to be.
As age ascends, keep wonder in your gaze,
Play games, try tastes untasted—let life amaze.
Gather with friends, sip joy’s sweet draft,
Find sunlight in the small, and laugh the hearty laugh.
Don't wait for tomorrow
You will left behind
Take your first step today
So you will have work to start
Don't tarry yet, don't haste
Don't look at the clock
But follow its track
Do something worthwhile
To make your day bright.
Be patient all time
One doesn't stay always
Time will turn love
Good times will come
Just believe in yourself
Instead of listening to the words of people
If what you think is right do it
Keep going that way
Until success will be seized.
Carpe Diem
living
grab each moment
tomorrow may not come
forget about the past and seize
the day
Sifting through the sands of time
Ephemeral it fades away
As water flows down the river
It's constantly on the move
Time and tide waits for no one
Instead of lamenting the past
We should seize every moment
Fulfil our dreams and wishes
Till our time on this earth is over
And death knocks at our door.
You look at things differently when you are old
And should do things when you have the chance,
For maybe you won’t get to act on the plans
You have made way too far in advance.
Surely some opportunities won’t come again;
You must grab them, no matter the cost,
Or you’ll wake up one day and you’ll realize, too late,
That the moments you’ve craved have been lost.
Time is fleeting and more so as decades add up
And the years you have left start to fade.
Every chance that you miss offers no second shots;
Possibilities can’t be delayed.
“So like a child, find each day's joy;
say carpe diem, and enjoy.”

Yes, carpe diem- “seize the day”-
is what those words convey;
to make the most of every chance-
to live life's song and dance.
The years seem long, but time is short
a sin to waste, abort
the life we wish to fill our dreams
which happiness redeems.
Each day that passes is a gift
of space that grants a lift
to form and mold into a prize
great joy before our eyes.
Tomorrow might be whisked away-
so cherish every day,
to live each one through rain or shine;
this gift of life- so fine.

Breathless daughter, remember that time soon fades
Challenges arise and hope is not promised
Refuse to listen to the fear who dissuades
