I’m on this side of the door
Only God knows what’s on the other side
I’m on this side of Eternity
Only God knows where I’ll reside
All we need to do
Is to open the door
And all we need to heed
Is to open our heart more and more
We are face to face with God
His face the sky
And ours the Earth’s face of multi-race
The sky His blue eye
Can we see face to face
Can we see eye to eye
Only by God’s grace
Yonder, will we get over by and by
There may be many wild horses
But we have bridles and stanchions
For the broken and contrite heart
In My Father’s house are many mansions
A lot of respect Julia to you..In going through the horrors (some isrealis) put on you.'
Among so many others, all advocates
For fairness and peace' yet upon you all
Was violence and torture put, that was
The only gifts they released.' I believe we
Would not see 'eye to eye?' On really every
Thing.' Yet we both as real Australians
i'll say will would look into
just everything.' So despite
Any dichotomy.' Of which there are many
In the world, i say welcome to my heart you
Have done your best.? Yeah gurl.' No need
For all the violence, no need for all the hate
That is now as oppresive and a bad religion.? No its not a bit of me, my mates.' I say leave each Nation to live at rest, to work it
Out for themselves, its maybe fir the best.' No
More lobbying for armouerments, no more
Blood for oil, no more secret satanic
rituals set..
By the name of Jesus, I say' may all such evil fail
fall and fall.'
After swimming ashore
exhausted and on their last legs
when searching the beach
for somwhere secure to lay their eggs
two turtles who didn't see eye to eye
had a kerfuffle got in each other's face
and after a scuffle continued contesting
disputing the perfect nesting place
for altho' by the light of the moon
both were soon to be a mother
apparently they appeared to be
at loggerheads with one another
In the fortune teller's tent
a single dice lies,
6 faces, 6 fates, 6 stories reside,
waiting with silent sighs
for their master to again unravel their guise.
Seeker and seer see eye to eye
but with a smile
she sweeps the dice away,
hearing it tumble and roll into the night.
In its demise a seventh shall rise
who's face is marked not
with the craftsman touch
but rather her heart's hammering rush.
OTC DRUGS
I'm reluctant to take otc drugs
My main concern is side effects
I have an uncle and aunt and
With them I try not to connect
Auntie Histamine and I
Do not see eye to eye
I took Auntie Histamine once
And for 2 days I thought I'd die
Uncle Tylenol and I get along
Somewhat better, I'd like to report
But I only take Uncle Ty as
An absolute last resort
I'm not sure where they fit on our family tree
But I'm convinced they are on my wife's side
I'll check again on Ancestry
And possibly find where they hide
Sometimes one fights
Sometimes one cries
Hurt is because
All of our lies
Searching for truth
Is a personal path
Don't deny that wrath
Just don't go there
Forgive and laugh
Accept and change your point of view
If even only for a while
You have a right to feel the way you do
I am me and you are you
If at all we can't see eye to eye
We can agree to disagree and say goodbye
We don't see eye to eye,
Even when we're cheek to cheek.
I can't keep up with you it seems;
I don't know what it is you seek.
The values that you motivate,
Give you an intriguing mystique.
But your compassion needs an overhaul
Please pardon the critique.
You hide maliciously behind your charm,
Toying with the meek.
Barking orders, playing God;
Like Satan, so to speak.
The innocent demeanor you display,
Can't suppress your control freak.
Because when it comes to calculated coldness,
I'm sorry Sir, You reek!
So if you value this relationship;
Listen to the words I speak.
Be more attentive, tell the truth,
Then work on your technique!
Said Fred, the resentful Doorman,
(overworked and underpaid)
to Ed, the surly Foreman,
(overrated yet undismayed)
'I'll call you a cab, if you beckon,
you'll want a quick getaway, I reckon,'
and snidely sniggered,
under his breath, 'You're a hack!'
surprising the top nob on the job,
as, Fred had the knack
of insulting, without denigrating,
and yet, debating
whether to hold a grudge,
Ed decided, 'Yes,' but not a big one,
which he couldn't carry, as it wouldn't budge.
And altho', toe to toe,
the two did not see eye to eye,
so, trading barbed epithets
and loud expletives on the fly,
they let go at one another,
I don't know, so don't ask me why.
Please don't do unto me,
Cuz we don't see eye to eye%
As far as I can see,
Our Democracy's a tie!
Like you, I love the "Free,"
But, what's a fella to do?
Cuz, you are just like ME,
And, I am just like YOU!
You can search town to town,
Just the flip-side of a coin.
Cuz, when the chips are down,
Then the working class gets goin'......©©©÷©©©

Citizens...Choosing...Country
Happy Labor Day America!
Every time I turn my radio on
I hear the same old song
and I await good news from abroad today
especially a change is on the way
but I don't believe all they say
as how can they see eye-to-eye
or meet face-to-face
when east looks east and west looks west
in this so-called human race
putting power in the hands
of people who don't give a damn
will only go so far only last so long
the genie's out of the bottle
there's no going back
where did we go wrong
to be so far off track
embellish or embroider
you can't improve on truth
anything less is second best
for which I have no use
and when it sounds
like chaos all around
it seems no one cares or shares
look to your morals ethics values scruples
and take the higher ground
Android City
The Guardian had an article about
Elon Musk's town in West Texas
The article was somewhat ill-willed
one got the sense of Android city
eerie and eccentric like the movie
The lesbian leaning Guardian and
Elon Musk doesn't see eye to eye
the article was not a friendly
Trembling rain winds of fame
this game is just another regret
standing here on cold I so my fear
crushed my anxiety prophets and reality
cruel my intentions this is and never is
never to see and to never see eye to eye
cry for cry die in my arms
all the lies and all good buys
enter the fall, crawl into my pain
never the gain I am insane.
if this is who I am in my brain
than I will stay and I will pray.
A Mother's Love
You carried me for nine months and brought me in to the world,
You was overjoyed and excited when the doctor said " it's a girl",
You showered me with love and kisses as you held me in your arms,
You made it your upmost responsibility to protect and shield me from harm,
you gave me my bottle and rocked me to sleep,
Even though you couldn't sleep without me making a peep,
i gave you a run for your money but you made it through some how,
The loving mother you was then is the loving mother you are now,
I know raising a spoiled hypercontriact isn't easy at all,
Being the Energizer bunny I was I must have drove you up the wall,
But yet there was precious moments of playing with my toys while your giving me a bath,
Us dancing and singing doing funny things that made us laugh,
Growing up we didn't always see eye to eye we had our ups and downs,
But through it all we came to a understanding and no matter what you was always around,
Knowing I was one of three children you made it through some how,
The loving mother you was then is the loving mother you are now
I, too,
wish to carry a bullet
for the ducks flying through snow.
I, too,
want to live under neon lights—
blue light still my closest friend.
I, too,
take cold showers
until my hands stop shaking,
snapping red like nerves.
I, too,
clasp my hands after killing a mosquito,
even if blood and genes mean nothing.
I, too,
walk through mist,
loving the snails that move slow like me.
I, too,
carry an apple in my throat.
If the mic drips with honey,
I’ll recline and listen in silence.
Do we truly see eye to eye, or merely pretend to align?
A prayer-like wind passed through me.
If only time can solve this,
how could I not
I, too,
want to type without thinking.
If I press the TAB key,
maybe summer and fall will appear.
I, too,
bury my face in my frontal lobe,
whispering “today, for sure,”
until it stops being a lie.
I, too,
wanted cherry blossoms.
Who swept the petals away before I arrived?
I almost asked aloud—
but there was no one to answer.
Who could ask for anyone better?
If I were cold, you would bring a sweater without me asking
When I couldn't see, you were my bifocals so I could see your perfect form passing
How can I do it without ya?
Maybe I'll get my chance
Maybe I'll come up with the perfect words
Maybe my thoughts won't get distorted
Maybe I can't see she's only going to love me
Maybe it's time we see eye to eye sublime
Maybe I'll glance at the most divine woman I've ever known
Maybe she got the best of me
Maybe she'll give me the greatest love I've ever been shown
Maybe my supergirl will send me chills right to the bone
Maybe she is the dialect to my unorthodox text
Maybe I'm angry
Maybe I'm dead to her, invoking ill will not knowing
Or maybe it's like my mama told me,
I just need to take it one day at a time!
