Premium MemberWhen the rains come

 When the rains come down
And the dark clouds fill the sky
The old men go walkabout
 When the rains come down
And the earth no longer dry
The old women praise the Lord

When the rains come down
And dams are overflowing
The young men learn the secrets
When the rains come down
And fertile fields start growing
The young women long for love

Home

Raindrops are falling
Wind whistles through the treetops
The heavens are opening

I feed the fire
Feeling a final comfort
Relieved that I arrived home

Premium MemberRain or Shine

The rain is singing
Soaking the leafy terrain
With splashy songs of puddles

The sun is smiling
Spreading a golden kindness
Through its glazed misty snuggles

Premium Memberstorm at my house

cleared small things tied-up big things
wind and rain came and they stayed

Premium MemberWinter Slush

I watched the snow fall
As it grasped the tree branches
It left a wonderland here

I watched the rain fall
As it washed tree branches bare
The slush on the ground is deep

Laughter in the rain
was our last song together.
Waking up is hard to do,
forty winks away.
Oh Carol, calender girl,
love in the shadows for now.

Premium MemberDark Puddles

Tonight the red sky
looked like a troubled fountain
because of the coming rain
dark puddles formed slick
in the walk and on the steps
no one fell or broke a knee

Premium MemberWhen It Rains

The rain is pouring
With the sun shining brightly
Now a rainbow is showing

After the rain passed
the ground is drenched with water
Being thirsty the ground drinks

Edges of Doubt

Art in loneliness
Shiny water of sea-green
Your smile shines bright in the rain
A wandering soul
Write treasures in your dungeon
The edges of doubt are sharp

Poet of Pot

Poet of pot

Thirst die in flames of coal
Which molded by water and Clay
I am a gentleman who is digging the sand of gold to
Bring the drops of rain on his face
The heat tightening the flesh to eaten by eagles and gid hey my princess please bring the drink from my pot by the deadly walk of you in my heart...
By leaving your sandles near your place.... Till the wait of my i called poet of pot

A Day Dream

rain drops rhythmic sound
cleansing all as it hits ground
mother earth thankfully smiles

birds singing loudly
sun breaks through the grey lined clouds
flowers blooming reach up high

eyes open slowly
snowflakes bitter bite wakes me
soon ..soon it will lose its grasp

Pathetic

Rain pummels my soul
beast holds dear, weakening me
Looks of anguish, anger me
Impatience runs through
as their dejected glances
burn. I am weak in their eyes.

Prince From Camelot Meets Princess From Nottingham

As the Knight is in the castle; with his armor of shield,
Lady Bethevere strolls through the flowers; placed in the field…

Their hearts brought together; from the power of Heaven,
Strange as it may be; with the number of eleven…

With many things in common; and their quest for love,
Cupid surely played a part; from the clouds above…

Travel time & highways; bring them as one,
Cafes’ & picnics; and the warmth of the sun…

Wine and chocolate; with the laughter of fun,
The adventures of the couple; has yet to begun…

She greets him with a smile; as he comes in from the rain,
She brings the Knight to laughter; just with a coffee stain…

July and September; will be months they remember,
Tensile, snow and glitter; they both will share in December…

                                                              Love,
                                                              Sir Shawncelot

Moonlight Delight

Steamy moonlit night
the vacant hot tub beckoned
honeymoon couple kiss bliss
amore was short lived
loud claps of thunder then rain
safe inside ate some moon pies

A Sensual Dream

Heat rises in swirls
from dusky earth to be drenched
in sky's watery embrace.
Her body sizzles
as she craves for his raw touch.
Fully roused, he leaps in thrill.

Fresh droplets of rain
seep through the layers of soil
 into the parched, scorching core.
Warm then cool, wet hug.
Her longing thirst consumes him
as he perspires to quench her.

Smell of petrichor
released by the dampened soil
imbues the air pleasantly.
Her soft and moist skin
exudes sweet scent - a reward
bestowed for his competence.

~*~
Flame in the fireplace
flares up with a crackling noise
before burning out in ashes.
A sensual dream
dissolves in a restless sleep
awakened by the moaning.
