People talk of the birds and bees
As a placeholder for the broader world
Reproducing in fecundity along with May flowers.
But there’s a deeper reason for the association
And it’s the sight and sound
Of them being relentlessly busy.
We notice them, their flights
And their buzzings and chirpings,
And more importantly we feel those sounds
In our very core,
A vibration that relieves of us stress
Releases endorphins
Makes us whole, and thus holy,
And reminds us
Maybe we too should take the time
To dance and sing, and build our nests
In the rejuvenating comfort
Of spring’s warm embrace.
(5/3/26)
a spring breeze needed
to rejuvenate my thoughts
opening my mind
With morning brew, I strolled outside
To hear the jabber of a squirrel up high
Made my rounds to visit each tree
To my delight I did see
Newborn buds did plenty peek
From deciduous and coniferous all unique
Mature strong boughs cradled nests
Wide-mouth chicks at mother's behest
A troop of ants marched in line
carrying rations in rhythm time
I made my way toward the woods
On the edge, mouth open I stood
To my surprise my hands did fold
My heart sang with the sight to behold
A sea of white flowers, I dare not step
Trillium Grandiflorum, tears of joy I wept
It made my day and now each year
I make my rounds with awe and cheer
Happy Mother's Day to thee
A living bouquet from Creator to ye
Sun rises again
Horizon's edge warm glow
Revitalizing hope
Forgiveness and love
Gifts unconditionally
Heals the most fractured
Seeing listening
Eye contact warm expressions
Human connection
Everlasting warmth.
Floating rejuvenation -
Awaken prepared
Nothing but roadblocks railroading my train of thought
A way to move forward has to be on the precipus
My vehicle halted on the road not traveled
Hazard lights illuminate the darkness that surrounds my engine
Unfortunate repairs as I leak black tears
Busted, Mangled, & Torn Apart
I sit parked in the space of my own doing
Longing for the drive that used to spark my...
Plugged into the reflection of what could have been
The change in temperature, heated up my seat of complacency
Once again I am ignited and fueled by doubt
Vroom Vroom....the sound of the beast revived
Vroom Vroom....the growl as it awakes from its slumber
Vroom....the anger is engulfed in bellows
Again! the drive is restored
No longer a swerve but a straight shot
Zooming to the highway of rejuvenation
the rain will pour relentlessly
washing away the sins of day
waves roll down my street
echoing triumph of the new world
cold air and back-splash reaches me
reminders that i am not as exception to this washing
I need a little rejuvenation
feeling stagnant and stuck
same oh same oh
Thursday is a duplicate of Monday through Wednesday
last week I met friends for lunch
It was not much, but it was something
I need a purpose, a goal, a mission
a little rejuvenation
a hobby, something new
Ready now to break down
Ruin midst fatigue looms
Replenishment is sought
Rightfully pleaded for
Restoration from God*
Revival faith implores
Radiates rejoicing
*“In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried unto my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears.” Psalms 18:6, King James Version

Rejuvenation
She was too in love,
Until reality hit her,
She was too involved,
Until the love shattered her.
She could say a million words,
But they all were senseless,
She could sing a heartbreak song,
But that would have been soulless.
The love
intoxicated her ,
Tormented her,
murdered her
shedding tears and
pain inside she hid.
Sending signs
of chaos from within,
the line between love
and her was so thin.
all these years she was stuck in the trap of her first false love.
She was like a storm,
fiery and destructive,
She was fighting her own battle,
Out the shell of fake love
she found her first love,
True love in the mirror reflection,
Embracing the pieces of her soul,
She learnt to love herself.
As she removed the blindfold from her eyes,
Like dark sees the light,
In the journey of disproving by the true love,
She finds her first love, She finally becomes her one
TRUE LOVE.

Loves Rejuvenation
Procrastination steals the time
that lovers could use better,
Forgiveness is not easy,
but if not released will fester,
Regrets live on, when love is gone,
unless rejuvenated,
Time passes and will heal the hurt,
‘loves tragedy’ created,
And so it was two lives re-crossed,
fate defined their future,
The hurt had passed; they now could laugh,
each with one another.
What had seemed a grievous act,
which never forgot, could be,
Was frivolous and petty,
now there love had been set free.
For friends of these two loves,
the break had been traumatic,
Some had taken sides,
and so the healing, was sporadic.
Like a pebble causing ripples,
we affect all those we care for,
However love is blind,
and takes no mind if others hurt more.
I faced the miserable plight of a failing vital organ
Thought that was the beginning of the ordained end
As modern medicines didn’t work the way they should
My mind plunged into the abyss of stark despondency.
I hovered at the crumbling edge of fading optimism
Receiving destiny’s distinctive signal for departure
As the last resort I sought the benevolence of God
Prayed for His blessings for a miraculous recovery.
Agonized by the gloom of dismal nights I perceived
His radiance illumine the darkness of my fatal future
My soul swam to the supreme savior in the sea of faith
Knowing that He always takes care of what He creates.
As my servitude sensed the signal of His omnipresence
The trust of getting sure protection in His benign shelter
Enhanced my mental strength to fight for the rejuvenation
I was blessed my organ revived through divine intervention.

Burned out?
Tired out?
Turned out?
Fire out?
Time for a quiet time
In a quiet place,
For relaxation
And meditation.
Refresh
Renew
Refurbish
Your soul.
written October 9, 2021
From banishing all nighttime fears
My inner goddess awakens
Suffused in dawn’s golden, haloed ray
Lauds homage to the primeval code
Reaffirming and rejuvenating once more
Charged to accomplish all that a new day brings
Generally dreads the kitchen:
The incalculable losses it occasions one’s image.
Often with fried, oily chicken:
A company that doesn’t anything damage!
For all early morning jogs promptly ready!
Its healthy rejuvenation of a woman’s waist!
Has resolved not to be domiciled in a periphery,
Wherever seems to suggest a satellite
Eating rice with much stew against Beriberi:
A tradition of treading roads of laterite.
Unparalleled roles of reforms she can play
But sometimes the very driver of a fratricidal truck:
The ultimate prices of natural sacrifices she can pay,
Yet, the chief character behind some municipal ill-luck…
Not infrequently, recipient of cheers of a mammoth crowd,
As much the earner of the first bed in a bedlam.
From time to time a powerful voice on human affairs very loud
Not inconceivably between two hearty friends building a dam:
In some cases, emerging the people’s torchlight and battery,
still in others, the mastermind of a scheduled adultery.
Earth has awakened; life is new.
Bright blooms smell fragrant; skies are blue.
Who could resist this gorgeous view?
The end of winter’s overdue!
The end of winter’s overdue!
Who could resist this gorgeous view?
Bright blooms smell fragrant; skies are blue.
Earth has awakened; life is new.
