Premium Member PRAISE BE TO GOD FOR MANIFESTING HIS WORKS

November 7 Praises to God Bible Meditations Based on John 9-10

Key Verse – John 9:3 Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.

PRAISE BE TO GOD FOR MANIFESTING HIS WORKS

Praise be to God for manifesting His works in our:
Workmanship by His watchfulness
Weakness along His worthy winning
Waiting inside His will midst His wisdom
Worship according to His wondrous ways
Weariness-wrestlings toward His well-done welcome

John 10:11 Praise be to the Lord for
being our good Shepherd:
Loving us in His leadership
Lifting us up against lowliness
Liberating us from loneliness-lingering
Letting us listen to Him while on Him, leaning
Lengthening our lives while learning His lessons

John 10:27 Praise be to the Saviour for allowing us
to hear His voice of:
Redemption for our repentance and ransom
Restoration, reformation with renewal-readiness
Resurrection toward our righteous rejuvenation-revival
Restraint along our rescue in returning to His restrengthening
Reminders for our reinforcement and reward midst His replenishment. Amen!

Enslaved

You're a slave
to the domination of your choosing.
You're so naïve.
Simple denial creates confusion.

Just admit it.
That you have a problem
It's so obvious to us all
Just admit it and take the fall

We are delusioned.
We think that we are free.
We're so bound
By our own mindful sound.

Our thoughts twist.
We refuse to acknowledge.
We purposely miss
The escape route that is made.

We are enslaved
To the gods of this world
To carnal minded thinking
Instead of refreshing renewal.

How do we escape?
When all there is to see
Is the constant failure
The repetitive redundancy

Do we stand?
Cast off evil imaginations,
Let our minds have revelation,
And our spirits impartation.

It's no joke.
The hardest armor to wear
The armor of God
Yet it defends us rightly.

No penetration.
The boundaries are set.
But the battle lines
Are in our own minds.

Can you win?
Will you stand up to yourself?
To the ideas you've adopted.
The values you claim true.

The mind's playground.
Full of imaginations
Deceitful in it's own passivity
But there is another…

Enslaved to God
Thinking thoughts He gives
Not all is lost in this generation
New thoughts given rejuvenation

I will stand.
Even in the field of myself.
When my mind is against me
When everything else is failing.

It's either, or.
The choice is well-defined.
You're either for or against.
Which do you choose?

Romans 6:22 - But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves to
God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life.

Pleasant is thy companionship, my reverie, o my enchanting one
Humbled me in sublimation, rejuvenated my soul,
My reverie, my enchanting one.
Kindled my eyes, blossoming beyond the charm, my delight
My heart song pondered with a gentle breeze, heavy with fragrance
My reverie, my enchanting one.
Touched my soul, flora and fauna charmed with ecstasy, blossomed
Willful kismet had a say with time, with our chariot of eloquence, revered
In Thine, rejuvenation may have a graceful renunciation, rebirth , nuance
This life, kindled within a lifetime of lives intertwined, bestowed beyond
My reverie, my enchanting one.

Spring’s beauty is indeed a wondrous sight
highlighting the supreme Designer’s best:
flowers bloom; daffodils, tulips delight
as vegetables abound for blest harvest
hibernating animals shake strength’s might
birds flutter sweetly in each breeding nest
affirming precious life wrought by great God
midst His miracles, deserving our nod.

Showcasing vibrancy, active in nature
Spring features great handiwork so divine:
rejuvenation with birthing gesture
sprouting along restoration’s bright shine
revival glow of spiritual posture
thriving stewardship for heaven’s goal-line
grateful to the Lord*, re-creation source
offering hope, peace, joy ~~~ by His love’s force.

Isaiah 45:8 Drop down, ye heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together; I the LORD have created it.

Is your mind in the gutter,
full of what you shouldn't utter?
  Or perhaps it's your conscience
which eats you alive with slanderous nonsense--
about your ex, matters of sex, or your neighbor's pecs?

Heh-heh, join the club, bub.
You're not going to drown in this tub
  --Glub, glub, glub--
You won't necessarily be snubbed
Or flub the proverbial dub.

There is a solution to all this pollution
of your most precious resource,
your mind,
of course.

Just take a deep breath, heave a huge sigh;
Look up at the sky; LOL, "My oh my."
       Then flip the switch,
       Count your blessings;
       That'll get rid of
       What is depressing:

Fuming over how much your ex hates you and you her?
--Start counting the days since you had to occupty the same space with her.
Now there, don't you feel better already, your load a bit lighter?

Seething because you haven't had sex since the passing of Tyrannosaurus Rex?
--Start counting all the partners who you avoided who'd have cursed you
     with a hex.
Whew! Aren't you happy now that you didn't bite off more than their fair
       necks?

Jealous of the shape your neighbor's in? Plotting to undo his diet & do him in?
--Start recalling all the meals you've enjoyed that you've have had to skip:
I'll bet in a minute or two you'll be convinced that life for him is a gyp.

The grass is always greener on the other side:
When we start rolling in the mud, we slip and then slide
into negative thoughts and soul-poisoning contemplation,
at which time what's called for is refreshment and rejuvenation,
starting with a change of the the mind's diaper, to rid it of a load
of toxic pollutants and misdirected fury untold.

Footloose

I'm footloose and fancy free.
My youngest daughter is twenty one.
I've just returned from having fun.
Visiting each and every one.

Isn't it bliss to see them grown?
Fully formed adults on their own.
Confident, carefree, full of plans.
Before they settle with a man.

A job well done, I can relax.
Think of only me in fact.
The pitter patter of tiny feet.
Will be the next I have to greet.

I'm not a grandma yet, oh no!
Now is my time to let go.
Travel a little, while I can.
Perhaps meet a new man.

It's a nice way to be, fancy free.
After a life of dedication.
Now it's time for meditation.
Relax, breathe, rejuvenation.

When a Word Is Sent To Jesus

Lazarus fell ill so Martha and Mary sent a word to Christ
to let Jesus know all that was occurring in their lives
but Jesus did not respond nor did he venture right away
He stayed where He was for two whole days

now Jesus loved Martha, Mary and Lazarus very much
and He sensed that Lazarus was in need of His healing touch
but what many can't see or even understand
is that sometimes we have to wait on God's unfolding plans
God may need to position us so that we can come to see
and understand that our emergency may not need His urgency

your eyes and ears are just for the gathering of information
but they're not equipped to decipher godly interpretation
a word sent to Jesus may require a lengthy process
as time may be needed before the situation can be addressed
now Lazarus had died but that was God's divine plan
so that Jesus could raise him from the dead with His anointed hands

we all have to go through some stuff in order to be reborn and renewed
so that the Holy Spirit can now work in and through you
to be transformed and transcended by the power of the Holy Ghost
no longer to compartmentalize those things in life we need most
to get rid of the dead things physically and spiritually
which are giving off a foul odor all around thee
and when Jesus arrived He said, "where is he?"
my friend Lazarus who has need of Me
but what Jesus was really asking for is those gifts to us He gave
those blessings we have packed away or buried in a grave
we need to stop letting Satan whisper words of doubt
that make us feel incapable of working it all out
for not everything we bury is truly dead and gone
as God has the resurrection power to revive it and make it strong

so if you're buried under the burden of life's situation
its time to seek out Jesus for divine rejuvenation
so roll away those stones that have you in bondage and entombed
be they internal or external let Jesus have some room

now Jesus said Lazarus come forth and he did obey
and he was still in the grave clothes from his interment day
so when God sends you an invite come as you are
He's not looking for perfection nor a shining star
and when a word is sent to Jesus we need to understand
that He will respond according to God's divine plans
